24082404MODELSProgrammer/ControllersProduct dataThe 2404/2408 is a versatile, high stability temperature or process controller, with self and adaptive tuning, in 1/4 DIN and 1/8 DIN sizes. It comes with a standard 8 segment setpoint programmer, with options for one, four or twenty programs of 16 segments each.It has a modular hardware construction which accommodates a wide range of plug-in modules. It will accept up to three I/O modules and two communication modules. Two Digital inputs and an optional alarm relay are included as part of the fixed hardware build. The hardware is configurable for heating, cooling, alarms and other functions. A transmitter power supply option is available, as is a 5 or 10V transducer supply option.The 2404/2408 is fully configurable on-site.The programmer can have up to 8 programmable outputs which can be set in each segment to trigger external events. The two digital inputs can be used to run, hold and reset the program. Parallel operation of several programmers can be performed with synchronisation chosen at the end of any desired segments.Precise controlAn advanced PID control algorithm gives stable ‘Straight-line’ control of the process. A one-shot tuner is provided to set up the initial PID values and to calculate theovershoot inhibition parameters. In addition an adaptive tuner will handle processes with continually changing characteristics. On electrically heated loads, power feedback is used to stabilise the output power and hence the controlled temperature against supply voltage fluctuations. Dedicated cooling algorithms ensure optimum control of fan, water and oil cooled systems.Universal inputA universal input circuit with an advanced analogue to digital convertor samples the input at 9Hz and continuously corrects it for drift. This gives high stability and rapid response to process changes. High noise immunity is achieved by rejection of 50/60Hz pick-up and other sources of noise. Sensor diagnostics are also provided. The input will accept all standard thermocouples, the Pt100 resistance thermometer and linear millivolts, milliamps or DC volts.Input filtering from OFF to 999.9 seconds is included.Customised operationA custom LED display provides a bright, clear display of the process value and setpoint.Tactile push buttons ensure positive operation. Access to other parameters is simple and easy to understand and can be customised to present only those parameters that need to be viewed or adjusted. All other parameters are locked away under password protection.A front panel auto/manual button is provided.AlarmsUp to four process alarms can be combined onto a single output. They can be full scale high or low, deviation from setpoint, rate of change or load failure alarms. Alarm messages are flashed on the main display. Alarms can be configured as latching or non-latching and also as ‘blocking’ type alarms which means that they will become active only after they have first entered a safe state.Digital communicationsAvailable with either EIA485 2 wire, 4 wire or EIA232. This unit incorporates Whisperflow™ advanced baffling technology to reduce noise and ensure uniform airflow.The Smart WhisperFlow ™ ECM Fan/Filter Unit uses an integrated control modulereferred to in this manual as the EC Motor Control Card. The Control Card features can be accessed at the EC Motor Control panel located on the motor housing, above the HEPA filter housing.1.1 Fan/Filter Unit Specifications Specification Notes:• All FFU data is based on a standalone unit using 1” prefilter and clean filters. • Data will vary depending o n filter media and configurations with otherproducts/systems, such as ductwork or hoods.2.0 OperationThe unit consists of a 1/3-HP electronically commutative motor driving a forward-curved centrifugal impeller. Air is drawn into the unit through a pleated pre-filter and in turn to an insulated chamber where it is then directed to an exit HEPA filter with a built-in diffuser.The unit can also be equipped with a 3/8”-diameter challenge port, which can be used to take differential pressure measurements to monitor filter performance or insert aerosols for leak-test certification. Port is capped when not in use.3.0 InstallationThe Fan/Filter Unit is designed to fit on top of a Terra standard 2’ x 4’ clean room ceiling grid. It includes a threaded fixture at each corner to accommodate four eye-bolts (not provided) that can be used to assist in positioning the unit.WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, observe the following: A) Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.B)Before servicing or cleaning unit, or replacing a filter, switch power OFF at the service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent power from being accidentally switched on. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel.C) When the removal/disconnection of either filter is required due to service or component replacement, the replacements are to be remounted as previously installed.D) Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction. All metal components must be properly grounded.E) When cutting or drilling into a wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.4.0 Initial Start-upCAUTION: Double check your FFU is configured for the correct voltage. Connecting the motor to the wrong voltage can permanently damage and break the motor. The FFU is pre-configured for 120V. It can be easily reconfigured to 230V, see section 8.0 “120V vs 220V Configuration”.WARNING: Keep unit disconnected from power supply during inspection.Prior to providing power to the unit, check that no damage has occurred during shipping. This can be accomplished via a visual check to make sure there are no visible dents or penetrations. If the unit is intact, remove the pre-filter and fan guard screen.Manually rotate the fan wheel to make sure it is not in contact with any stationary parts and that there are no visible loose screws or bolts obstructing the wheel’s rotation. After installation, with power applied, the fan will rotate and filtered air will exit the HEPA filter.5.0 Cleaning and MaintenanceWARNING: Disconnect from power supply before servicing unit or replacing filters. When servicing or replacing either filter, the new filter is to be installed in the same manner as the filter it replaces.The scheduled maintenance of the unit depends on the installed location and consists of cleaning or changing the pre-filter and the HEPA filter. It is recommended that the pre-filter be inspected and cleaned every three months or sooner depending on thecleanliness of the external environment. The HEPA filter cannot be cleaned and must be replaced when the air velocity falls below 70 feet/min.© Copyright 2021 Terra Universal Inc.All rights reserved Revised August 2021Replacing the FiltersThe Room-Side Replaceable FFU is designed so that the HEPA or ULPA filter can bereplaced from inside the cleanroom without breaching the controlled environment. Thefilter assembly is separate from the fan module, which stays in place in the ceiling grid.Follow these instructions to replace the filter.A)First, you must remove the stainless steel screen covering the filter that is held inplace with friction catches (Photo 1). This screen protects the filter from damageand enhances airflow uniformity.Photo 1: Friction catches hold the screen to the fan module housing.B)Next, rotate the metal tabs that help hold the HEPA filter in place (see Photo 3).Photo 3: Filter-face grille’s metal tabs.C)Gently let the used filter drop down, and set aside. The filter assembly issurrounded by a channel containing gel seal. Wipe any residual gel from theknife-edge of the fan module still in the ceiling to prepare for the replacementfilter. Position your new filter carefully before pushing into place; the knife-edge of the fan module should be centered in the channel (equal amounts of gel on both sides). Photo 4 shows the gel-filled channel of the RSR filter. At this stage, data can be saved to the computer.GENERAL BUTTONLocation allows a 12 character description to be entered.Data Type defines the value that is stored to memory.Point is when every sampled measurement is stored directly to memory. Averaging is the average value per period stored.Maximum is the maximum value per period stored.Minimum is the minimum value per period stored.Read Rate is the rate at which the sampling points are measured, or the period.Log Interval is the time between when the sample points are stored. Display Update is how often the LCD updates. This also defines the flash rate of the LEDs, so setting it to a longer interval will improve battery life. Stop when Full means that when the logger’s memory is full it will stop log-ging.Wrap when Full means that when the logger’s memory is full, it will over-write the oldest data and continue to log.Log Size sets the effective memory size in readings per channel. The Default option sets the memory size to the maximum available, while the Custom option means that a smaller maximum memory can be set.INPUT SETUP BUTTONEnabled channels are chosen from the tick boxes to the left of the channel numbers.Visual On shows which channels will be displayed on the LCD.Descriptor allows a 12 character description of the input to be entered.Inputs for temperature and humidity are fixed. Universal inputs can be cho-sen.Linearisation is different depending on the type of universal sensor chosen.The Input Scaling section allows the inputs to be scaled in engineering units. If the Icon column is chosen to be NONE, then a unit can be entered in the Unit column. The chosen icon or the entered unit will appear on printouts, etc.Channel 9 stores the number of counts per log interval for the frequency inputs, so channel 9 cannot be displayed on the LCD or on the LED indica-tors.MANIFEST TEXT BUTTONOwner Name is the Owners Manifest and is only set the first time the log-ger is issued.User Manifest Text is a label for the logger that takes up to 256 characters and can be changed every time the logger is issued.INPUT TRIM BUTTONThis allows span and offset corrections to be made. However, changing these will change the calibration which may result in inaccurate readings.Changing these values is not often done. The limits for the span are 0.95 to 1.05 and the limits for the offset are ±5.T o change these, the password entered the first time the program was opened is required.START LOGGINGThere are multiple ways that the data logger can begin to log data.Within the General button:Delayed Start means the user can select a specific date and time when it starts logging.Magnetic Start means the logger starts when the magnet is swiped across the appropriate place on the back of the logger. The orange LED will blink until the logger has been swiped.Digital Start means the logger starts when an external digital signal triggers it.Within the Input Setup button:Trigger Setup allows a low and/or high value to be entered in engineering units. The logger only logs when the input value goes below the low value or exceeds the high value.If none of these options are chosen, the logger will start as soon as the Issue button is pressed.ALARM SETUPWithin the Input Setup button, the Alarm Setup section allows a high and low value to be entered per channel.The Time column specifies how many times the high/low value can be crossed before an alarm is tripped.The LED on the logger changes from flashing green to red when an alarm is tripped on that channel.The alarms are armed the first time the input is in a non-alarm range. However, if Delayed or Trigger Start is enabled, then the alarms are armed as soon as it starts logging.FREQUENCY INPUTAll loggers can measure frequency through the use of a digital input facility. The digital input can be either a Potential free contact, TTL, C MOS, or Open Collector transistor. It can measure frequencies of up to 32 KHz.If the unit is measuring frequencies less than 50 Hz, then to prevent contact bounce that could give false readings, the internal filter should be activated. To activate, unscrew the 4 screws from the front of the unit and reposition the internal jumper ring so that the jumper will be in position B. An additional 0–20 dB of continuous gain adjustment is available using the Trim control.To avoid an excessive jump in level, It is recommended that the stepped Gain switch is turned to minimum before pressing the 30-60 switch.Before starting a recording, set the Trim control to near its centre position. Microphones are designed to have such low output impedance because the following advantages result:They are less susceptible to noise pickupThey can drive long cables without high frequency roll-off due to cable capacitanceThe side-effect of having such low output impedance is that the mic preamp input impedance has a major effect on the output level of the microphone. Low preamp impedance loads down the microphone output voltage, and emphasizes any frequency-related variation in microphone output impedance. Matching the mic preamp resistance to the microphone output impedance (eg., making a preamp input impedance 200 Ω to match a 200 Ωmicrophone) still reduces the microphone output and signal to noise ratio by 6 dB, which is undesirable.To minimise microphone loading, and to maximise signal to noise ratio, preamps have traditionally been designed to have an input impedance about ten times greater than the average microphone, around 1.2 kΩ to 2 kΩ. (The original ISA 110 preamp design followed this convention and has an input impedance of 1.4 kΩ at 1 kHz.) Input impedance settings greater than 2 kΩ tend to make the frequency-related variations of microphone outputs less significant than at low impedance settings. Therefore high input impedance settings yield a microphone performance that is flatter in the low and mid frequency areas and boosted in the high frequency area when compared to low impedance settings.Ribbon MicrophonesThe impedance of a ribbon microphone is worthy of special mention, as this type of microphone is affected enormously by preamp impedance.The ribbon impedance within this type of microphone is very low, around 0.2 Ω, and requires an output transformer to convert the low voltage it generates into a signal capable of being amplified by a preamp. The transformer uses a ratio of around 1:30 (primary:secondary) to increase the ribbon voltage to a useful level. This transformer ratio has the effect of increasing the output impedance of the mic to around 200 Ω at 1 kHz.The transformer impedance, however, is very dependent upon frequency – it can almost double at some frequencies (known as the resonance point) and tends to roll off to very small values at low and high frequencies. Therefore, in common with dynamic and condenser microphones, the mic preamp input impedance has asignificant effect on the signal level and frequency response of the ribbon microphone output transformer, and the associated ‘sound quality’ of the microphone. It is recommended that a mic preamp connected to a ribbon microphone should have an input impedance of at least 5 times the nominal microphone impedance.For a ribbon microphone impedance of 30 Ω to 120 Ω, the input impedance of 600 Ω (Low) will work fine. UFMC-MIMO波束成形传输方案设计魏明君;何世文;薛春林;路娟;杨绿溪【摘要】为了适应未来无线通信系统中的设备多样性、高速率、低时延和低功率消耗的需要, 新型波形研究成为第5代无线通信系统的关键技术之一.通用滤波多载波(Universal-filtered multicarrier, UFMC) 是一种广泛研究的5G侯选波形.然而现有的UFMC研究只涉及UFMC-SISO的场景, UFMC-MIMO的可行性和性能分析仍然空缺, 而MIMO波束成形必然是5G通信系统的重要场景, 因此对UFMC-MIMO进行评估和研究具有重要价值.本文提出了一个UFMC-MIMO系统可行方案, 包括发射机、接收机和波束成形实现算法.通过数学推导证明该方案能正确恢复发送端数据并通过仿真验证其性能.仿真结果表明, 不论在加性高斯白噪声(Additive white Gaussian noise, AWGN) 信道还是在多径信道下, UFMC-MIMO都具有比OFDM-MIMO更优越的性能, 尤其在抗频偏鲁棒性上表现出很大的优越性, 进而验证了UFMC-MIMO传输方案具备应用5G通信的能力.%In order to adapt to demands in future wireless communication system including equipment diversity, high data rate, low latency and low power consumption, new waveform has become one of the keytechnologies studied in 5 G wireless communication system. Universal filtered multicarrier (UFMC) is a widely researched 5 G candidate waveform. However, the existing research only involves with UFMC-SISO scenario, and feasibility and performance of UFMC-MIMO remain vacant. Considering MIMO is a necessary scenario in 5 G, it has great significance to study UFMC-MIMO. A feasible UFMC-MIMO system scheme including the transmitter, the receiver and the precoding realizing algorithm isproposed. It is proved that this UFMC-MIMO scheme can recover transmitted data correctly by mathematical derivation and its performance is verified by simulation. Back in 1968, a computer scientist named Alan Kay proposed that with advances in flat-panel display technology, user interfaces, miniaturization of computer components and some experimental work in WiFi technology, you could develop an all-in-one computing device. He developed the idea further, suggesting that such a device would be perfect as an educational tool for schoolchildren. In 1972, he published a paper about the device and called it the Dynabook.The sketches of the Dynabook show a device very similar to the tablet computers we have today, with a couple of exceptions. The Dynabook had both a screen and a keyboard all on the same plane. But Key's vision went even further. He predicted that with the right touch-screen technology, you could do away with the physical keyboard and display a virtual keyboard in any configuration on the screen itself.Key was ahead of his time. It would take nearly four decades before a tablet similar to the one he imagined took the public by storm. But that doesn't mean there were no tablet computers on the market between the Dynabook concept and Apple's famed iPad.One early tablet was the GRiDPad. First produced in 1989, the GRiDPad included a monochromatic capacitance touch screen and a wired stylus. It weighed just under 5 pounds (2.26 kilograms). Compared to today's tablets, the GRiDPad was bulky and heavy, with a short battery life of only three hours. The man behind the GRiDPad was Jeff Hawkins, who later founded Palm.Other pen-based tablet computers followed but none received much support from the public. Apple first entered the tablet battlefield with the Newton, a device that's received equal amounts of love and ridicule over the years. Much of the criticism for the Newton focuses on its handwriting-recognition software.It really wasn't until Steve Jobs revealed the first iPad to an eager crowd that tablet computers became a viable consumer product. Today, companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft and HP are trying to predict consumer needs while designing the next generation of tablet devices.C.2 A Brief History of satellite communicationIn an article in Wireless World in 1945, Arthur C. Clarke proposed the idea of placing satellites in geostationary orbit around Earth such that three equally spaced satellites could provide worldwide coverage. However, it was not until 1957 that the Soviet Union launched the first satellite Sputnik 1, which was followed in early 1958 by the U.S. Army’s Explorer 1. Both Sputnik and Explorer transmitted telemetry information.The first communications satellite, the Signal Communicating Orbit Repeater Experiment (SCORE), was launched in 1958 by the U.S. Air Force. SCORE was a delayed-repeater satellite, which received signals from Earth at 150 MHz and stored them on tape for later retransmission. A further experimental communication satellite, Echo 1, was launched on August 12, 1960 and placed into inclined orbit at about 1500 km above Earth. Echo 1 was an aluminized plastic balloon with a diameter of 30 m and a weight of 75.3 kg. Echo 1 successfully demonstrated the first two-way voice communications by satellite.On October 4, 1960, the U.S. Department of Defense launched Courier into an elliptical orbit between 956 and 1240 km, with a period of 107 min. Although Courier lasted only 17 days, it was used for real-time voice, data, and facsimile transmission. The satellite also had five tape recorders onboard; four were used for delayed repetition of digital information, and the other for delayed repetition of analog messages.Direct-repeated satellite transmission began with the launch of Telstar I on July 10, 1962. Telstar I was an 87-cm, 80-kg sphere placed in low-Earth orbit between 960 and 6140 km, with an orbital period of 158 min. Telstar I was the first satellite to be able to transmit and receive simultaneously and was used for experimental telephone, image, and television transmission. However, on February 21, 1963, Telstar I suffered damage caused by the newly discovered Van Allen belts.Telstar II was made more radiation resistant and was launched on May 7, 1963. Telstar II was a straight repeater with a 6.5-GHz uplink and a 4.1-GHz downlink. The satellite power amplifier used a specially developed 2-W traveling wave tube. Along with its other capabilities, the broadband amplifier was able to relay color TV transmissions. The first successful trans-Atlantic transmission of video was accomplished with Telstar II , which also incorporated radiation measurements and experiments that exposed semiconductor components to space radiation.The first satellites placed in geostationary orbit were the synchronous communication (SYNCOM ) satellites launched by NASA in 1963. That is, it was viewed as migrating a multichip system-on-board (SoB) to a single chip containing digital logic, memory, analog/mixed signal, and RF blocks. The primary drivers for this direction were the reduction of power, smaller form factor, and lower overall cost. It is important to recognize that integrating more and more functionality on a chip has always existed as a trend by virtue of Moore’s Law, which predicts that the number of transistors on a chip will double every 18-24 months. The challenge is to increase designer productivity to keep pace with Moore’s Law. Therefore, today’s notion of SoC is defined in terms of overall productivity gains through reusable design and integration of components.。

I. INTRODUCTION
The applications and advantages in the realization of various active transfer functions using current conveyors have received considerable attention [1]. The current feedback amplifiers (CFAs) exhibit the potentiality of extended operating bandwidths and relatively large values of slew rates compared to the conventional voltage-feedback amplifiers. Note that a CFA is equivalent to a plus-type second generation current conveyor (CCII) with a voltage follower [2]. On the other hand, voltage-mode active filters with high input impedance are of great interest because several cells of this kind can be directly connected in cascade to implement higher-order filters [3]-[5]. Recently, many voltage-mode universal biquadratic filters with single input and multioutputs were proposed [6]-[19]. However, only three standard filter functions at most can be simultaneously obtained in each circuit configuration. In 1998, Abuelma'atti and AI-Zaher II. Abstract-In this paper, a new single input and five outputs voltage-mode universal biquadratic filter with high-input impedance is presented. The proposed circuit employs three plus-type differential difference current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and three resistors and offers the following features: realization of all the standard filter functions, that is, high-pass, band-pass, low-pass, notch, and aU-pass filters simultaneously, the use of only grounded capacitors and highinput impedance.

The proposed circuit employs three plus-type differential difference current conveyors (DDCCs) [24], two grounded capacitors and three resistors. The proposed circuit uses only grounded capacitors, which are suitable for integrated circuit implementation [25]-[26]. Moreover, the proposed circuit enjoys high input impedance so that it can be directly connected in cascade to implement higher-order filters. Since the implementation configuration of the plustype DDCCs is simpler than that of the minus-type DDCCs, the proposed circuit employs the plus-type DDCCs only. With respect to the one-input and multi-output circuits in [6]-[19], all the standard filter functions can be obtained from the proposed circuit simultaneously. With respect to the single-input and five-output universal filter [20], the proposed circuit can realize all the standard filter function by using fewer active and passive components. With respect to the circuit [21 ]-[22], the proposed circuit has the advantages of high input impedance and employs fewer active or passive components. With respect to the circuit [23], the proposed circuit employs fewer passive components.
