Lesson 26 What Will I Be?教学设计一、语篇研读What:本课语篇是Tiantian有关预测自己未来职业并选择该职业原因的独白。

独白中,Tiantian主要谈论了自己未来职业的选择,成为一名飞行员或者一名工程师,成为他们的原因,以及遇到困难如何克服。

Why:Tiantian在独白中对梦想职业的预测和选择它们的原因,可以帮助学生去谈论自己未来的职业,了解现实与梦想之间的距离,培养学生为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗的精神。

同时也提供给学生如何使用英语准确描述自己的梦想,比如“May be I’ll be an airport pilot.”,“I would help people travel all around the world.”,“Or maybe I’ll be an engineer and build planes.”。

How:本课的语篇内容Tiantian预测自己未来职业并选择该职业原因的独白。

1、Do you have a fear of heights?你有恐高症吗?短语是:
意为:恐高症。

fear是词,意为害怕,惧怕,担忧。

如:He has a fear of snakes、另外,fear可做动词,常见短语
fear to do sth 或fear doing sth 如:The boy fears to walk at night、Height与high有什么区别?height是词,意为高,高度,海拔。

In height表示在高度上。

High是词,高的。

如,
The mountain is2000 metres high、 At a high speed 以高速。

2、…but that wont stop me from being a pilot…但是这不会阻止我成为一名飞行员。

短语是:
意为阻止某人做某事,stop 意为阻止,阻挠。

可以用keep
和prevent替换。

如:The heavy rain stops us from going to the sea、3、I can take small steps to overcome my fear、我可以采取小小的措施来克服我的恐惧。

短语是:
意为:采取措施做…如:We must take steps to improve our study、释疑点拨
1、People travel to see their families, for work or for fun、人们旅行,有的是为了看望家人,有的是为了工作,
有的仅是享受旅行的乐趣。

2、I would see the world and experience many interesting things、我可以看看世界,经历很多有趣的事情。

Experience 在本句中作动词,意为经历,经受。

如:Everyone experiences many problems in their lives、另外,experience还可以作可数名词,如childhood experiences儿时的经历达标检测
