《悲惨世界》在第一次购书的时候，是拒绝买的，因为名字实在不讨喜，生活的美好，让我有了抵制悲惨一词的本能，再者，书实在好厚好厚。

他的诗集竟发行50万册。

以常规的思想来看待此事，简直不可思议，但确是事实。

这件事给了我们很大启发。

笔者认为：由于莫拉维是波斯文学“四大支柱”之一，而波斯文学在世界文学史上又有崇高的地位，因而应当积极将莫拉维的诗歌译介到中国来。

而且，不仅仅要停留在这个阶段。

因为这些诗歌的哲理性太强，内容也较晦涩难懂。

为此，还应当再前进一步，经过编译，集中其精华部分，并结合中国读者的需要，设法使其通俗化一些，以能使更多的读者易于接受。

这样做，既有益于使我国文化更加丰富多彩，也能借鉴与吸收外国文化，促进我国文化的发展！莫拉维的《玛斯纳维集》及其现实价值（全文）一、关于莫拉维的《玛斯纳维集》莫拉维生于1207年，逝于1273年。

全名叫做莫拉那·贾拉勒丁·穆罕默德·莫拉维·巴尔希（Molanā Jalāl-ol-din Mo’hammad Molavi balhi）。

“莫拉那”，意：大毛拉，大学者；“贾拉勒丁”，为本名；“穆罕默德”，为教名；“莫拉维”，以“毛拉”为职业者；“巴尔希”，生于巴尔赫的人。

他亦被称作鲁米，或贾拉勒丁·鲁米。

这是由于他在年轻时便来到东罗马帝国领地科尼亚（gonie，现在土耳其境内）,直到去世一直生活与活动在这里。
