Nicholas: I’m sorry to disagree,Jack,but I don’t accept that at all. I think there’s a common misunderstanding that the learner-centred approach isn’t as effective as the traditional methods. That just isn’t true. We used to practise doing exams but we were also taught how to study more independently. Research shows that we do just as well as students from traditional schools.
