定语从句解题思路

The attributive clause:

定语从句的检测题一般都是对引导词选用的考查。所以我们首先要熟知所有可引导定语从句的引导词。

关系代词：_____________________________________________

关系副词：___________________________

介词+关系代词（which物/ whom人），有时介词加关系代词可被关系副词替换。定语从句试题的基本解题思路；（到所学为止）

1.找出先行词，确定先行词指代的人还是事物。指人的话，可选用的引导词有_________________________, 具体用哪一个要根据从句缺少的成分来决定。

指物的话，可选用的引导词有____________________________________.在指物的先行词中还要做进一步分析。指时间的话，首先考虑使用when, 指地点的话，首先考虑where, 是表原因的词reason的时，首先考虑why. 但一定要做进一步核实：（1）看从句缺少什么成分（2）把先行词放到定语从句中进行翻译。

2.划出定语从句。

3.根据先行词的指代和引导词在从句中所做的成分来确定引导词的选用。

4.当特殊先行词出现时，答案就一目了然了：当situation, case, point, stage,

等抽象化的表示地点的词出现时，通常用where 来引导。当the way 做先行词时，引导词一定是that, in which, / 三者之一。

5.根据选项来确定答案。
