1.on (a) vacation在度假
辨析:vacation与holiday
vacation,holiday可以通用,都是指工作日以外的休息时间,但不包括周末或仅仅一天的休息日。
holiday多用于英式英语,vacation多用于美式英语。
2.relaxed放松的。
以-ed结尾的形容词,表示人的感觉,主语为人。
surprising令人惊奇的,interesting有趣的,relaxing令人放松的。
以-ing结尾的形容词,主语多为物。
如:
It is an interesting book.它是一本有趣的书。
He is interested in English.他对英语感兴趣。
3.I'm having a great time visiting my aunt in Canada.
have a great time doing sth. 某人做某事很开心。
