negative sentence概念

negative sentence概念

negative sentence概念
Negative sentence

* I am not happy.(否定动词)
* This car is not red.(否定形容词)
* They did not go to the park yesterday.(否定动词短语)
* There is no milk in the fridge.(否定名词短语)

* I can't go to the party.(我不能去参加聚会。

* You shouldn't eat too much sugar.(你不应该吃太多糖。

* You mustn't park here.(禁止停车。

柯林斯词典对于sentence的定义是很明确的,“A sentence is a group of words which , when they are written down, begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop, question mark, or exclamation mark. Most sentences contain a subject and a verb.”

Hockett

A sentence is a group of words that expresses a complete thought. It usually contains a subject and a predicate, and it conveys a meaning that is clear and distinct. Sentences can be simple or complex, depending on the number and type of clauses they contain.For example, a simple sentence might be: "The cat is sleeping." In this sentence, "the cat" is the subject, and "is sleeping" is the predicate. The subject tells us what the sentence is about, and the predicate tells us what is happening to the subject.A complex sentence might be: "Although the weather was cold, the children played outside." In this sentence, "Although the weather was cold" is a subordinate clause, and "the children played outside" is the main clause. The subordinate clause provides background information or a condition, and the main clause conveys the main idea of the sentence.Sentences can also be classified according to their purpose or function. For example, declarative sentences make a statement, interrogative sentences ask a question, imperative sentences give a command or request, and exclamatory sentences express strong emotion or surprise.In summary, a sentence is a fundamental unit of communication that convey a complete idea or thought. topic sentence指的是主题句,是表达段落主题的句子。
