Lesson H How About a Picnic?教材分析:Lesson H How About a Picnic?是《ENGLISH THIS WAY》(《新路径英语》)第四册第二单元的第一课,话题是关于描述在某个天气情况下给出一个合理的活动建议,如本课的新词汇:go to the zoo,go to the park,go to the cinema,play badminton,以及表示感叹,如:What a…。

该篇课文是在学生已经在三年级教材学习了一周七天和天气的英语表达如:Saturday, What a nice day!等,以及常用的运动类名词如football,tabletennis,volleyball,basketball,swimming等的基础上展开的。

该教学题材贴近学生的生活,体现了语言学习不断复现,不断巩固,不断拓展,不断延伸的规律,有利于学生语言的积累和语言运用能力的发展,体现了英语课程标准的理念。

但是这篇课文对话长,教学内容比较多,涉及的某些单词较为生僻,发音比较难。

基于以上原因和任教班级的实际情况,笔者把教参建议的两课时调整为三课时。

本篇教案为第课一时教学设计。

作为第一课时,主要解决新词组have a picnic, go to the zoo,go to the park, go to the cinema,play badminton以及句型What a nice day!---How about doing sth.?---Why not?学生分析:小学中段的孩子天真可爱,模仿力强,好表现,能够大胆尝试新的语言,积极主动参与学习活动。

由于是四年级下学期,已经学习英语一年半,所以学生的词汇量和句型量都有一定的积累,对英语学习的兴趣依然浓厚,学习热情比较高。

再加上笔者所任教班级的英语底子不薄,而且孩子们的思维很活跃,能在教学新知识的同时利用旧知识进行大量的拓展和延伸。
