AC outlets Digital display PostsON/OFF buttonRemote control connection1 SAFETY GUIDELINES3000W POWER INVERTERImportant • Before connecting or using your 3000 watt inverter, please read and understand this User’s Manual.Please keep this manual for future reference.Safety Precautions • Incorrect installation or misuse of your DC to AC inverter may result in damage or hazardous conditions to the user. Please pay special attention to the following instructions and warnings.!Shock hazard! Keep away from children!• The safety will keep each AC outlet with only max 1500W power output. Any appliance over 1500W will not be powerd by this unit, and the overloading protection will be activated.DO NOT open the case of the inverter.DO NOT insert any foreign objects into the unit outlets, vents or fan openings.DO NOT expose the unit to rain, water or any other liquid, it is not designed to be waterproof.DO NOT operate the unit near flammable fumes or gases such as the cabin of a gasoline power boat, or near propane tanks.DO NOT operate the unit in an enclosed area that contains automotive type lead-acid batteries. This type of battery emits explosive hydrogen gas which can be ignited by sparks.The unit must be operated in an area that meets the following requirements in order to operate safely and provide optimum performance:Your 3000W Power Inverter supplies 3000 watts of continuous power with 6000 watts of surge power. When you turn on an appliance or a tool that operates using a motor or tubes, itrequires an initial surge of power to start up. This surge of power is referred to as the “starting load” or “peak load”. Once started, the tool or appliance requires less power to continue to operate. This is referred to as the “continuous load” in terms of power requirements. You will need to determine how much power your tool or appliance requires to start up and its continued running power requirements.2 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS DescriptionDon’t allow water or other liquid to drop or splash on the unit.Dry Ambient air temperature should be 0℃~40℃(the cooler the better within this range).Cool Leave at least 2in. (5cm) clearance around the unit for air flow. Ensure that the ventilation openings are not obstructed.Ventilated Do not operate the unit in the same compartment as batteries or in any compartment capable of storing flammable liquids like gasoline.Safe Do not operate the unit in an area that is prone to dirt, dust or debris. Especially important if used in a work environment.CleanThe inverter should be connected to your 12V power source with the two sets of DC cables to four posts (included). We recommend that the equipment or appliance switch be in the “OFF” position prior to plugging into the AC receptacle of the inverter.Connecting the inverter:1) Place the inverter on a flat surface, such as on the vehicle floor.2) Please make sure that the inverter is off.3) Attach the ring type connector marked with red to the positive (+) DC terminal on the power inverter, and attach the ring connector marked with black to the negative (-) DC terminal.4) Tighten the nut on each DC terminal until it is snug. DO NOT over-tighten.5) Connect the other end of the DC cables to 12V battery, red to positive and black to negative.Reverse the polarity will arouse blown fuse or damage to the inverter, which may also void the warranty.6) Repeat step (3)-(5) to connect another set of DC cables Notice: As this is a heavy duty unit, it requires two set of cable connecting to carry the electrical power.7) Press the ON button to turn inverter on.8) Plug the AC product(s) you wish to operate into the AC. outlet(s).9) Switch them on, one at a time.10) When the power inverter is not in use, disconnect the DCO-ring from the battery to prevent slight discharge of batteryCaution!Most vehicle batteries are designed to provide short period of very high current for starting the engine. They are not designed for a constant “deep discharge”. Constantly operating the unit from a vehicle battery until the low voltage shut off will affect the life of the battery. 可能很多朋友都遇到过这样的情况,耐压检测时打DC电压能通过,而打AC电压就出现报警或产品损坏。

其中的区别在哪里?隔离耐压3000VDC与3000VAC能等效吗?无论AC还是DC,3000V都是指有效值,3000VAC的幅值电压有4242V,那肯定有朋友会再问,那隔离耐压3000VAC与4242VDC能等效吗?答案也是不能的,原因如下:1、对于隔离模块,输入输出之间是存在隔离电容(这个电容等效于变压器原副边之间的耦合电容、PCB板原副边的耦合电容、光耦原副边的等效电容、以及模块内部原副边地之间可能外加的Y电容,这4个方面之和),大家都知道,对于直流信号,电容的阻抗无限大,而对于固定频率的交流信号,这个电容会等效于某一个固定的阻抗,因此隔离电容的大小对于直流信号没有太大的影响,而对于交流信号就会有较大的影响,表现在漏电流会变大,或者直接超标,系统报警。

2、AC与DC的另一个区别在于频率会影响绝缘介质的介电常数,频率会导致绝缘介质的介电常数降低,通常介电常数越高,绝缘能力越强。

举个例子,对于某个半成品的实验,10000VDC能通过检测,6000VAC不能通过检测,原因在于变压器原副边的空气有被电离,拉弧的现象。

那既然不能等效,是否可以把我们电源模块(尤其是我们的DC-DC模块)的AC耐压也做高呢?答案当然是肯定的,可以从以下3个方面着手:1、根据耐压等级及漏电流的要求计算出最低的隔离电容要求。

降低隔离电容可以从上面提及的4个方面着手。

2、根据耐压等级及隔离电容的要求,设计好合适的变压器,选择合适的光耦,PCB布局时原副边留好合适的距离。

3、根据耐压等级的要求,选择介电常数较大的灌封料,塑封料或者包封料,并确保内部没有气泡。

并评估50-60Hz的AC频率对介电常数的影响。

电源的隔离尤为重要,电源隔离模块的应⽤也成为嵌⼊式设备设计的必备品。

隔离耐压指的是两个没有直接电⽓连接的系统所能承受的最⾼绝缘电压。

电源隔离使⽤场合不同,对应的参数选择也不⽤。

如:AD-DC电源隔离,⼀般的⼯业场合要求隔离耐压在3000VAC到4000VAC;DC-DC电源隔离⼀般⼯业场合要求1000VDC到2000VDC,特殊⾏业可能会⾼,医疗⾏业有要求6000VDC。

⾸先区别⼀下各项电压指标的单位,常见的⼜ADC、VAC和RMS,具体如下所⽰。

VAC/VDC分别指交流电压与直流电压,但隔离耐压中交流与直流不能简单的进⾏换算,例如,3000VAC的幅值电压有4242V,但在实际应⽤中隔离耐压3000VAC与4242VDC并不等效。

产品广泛应用于工业控制、电力、通讯、仪器、仪表等领域中,当应用于电磁兼容比较恶劣的环境时必须参考应用电路。

产品功率降额曲线使用注意事项1、输入保险丝:由于产品内部没有保险丝,通常要在产品外部使用保险丝提供安全保护,以满足安全规范。

但是,由于保险丝管的电流承载能力是在环境温度为25℃进行测试的,而保险丝管的电流承载能力会受环境温度的影响,环境温度越高,电流承载能力越低,寿命越短。

在实际应用时,选取保险丝管应考虑保险丝管周围的环境温度。

2、输入端的浪涌保护:AC-DC模块电源失效大部分源于雷击,由于雷击、输入端的电压突变等引起的浪涌电压往往高达数千伏,这些异常电压通过电网传输到模块的输入端,不进行抑制就很容易导致模块失效,防雷处理对AC-DC模块电源来说非常重要。

一般的浪涌电压抑制器件基本可分为两大类:一种为撬棒(crow bar)器件,常用的如气体放电管;另一种为箝位保护器,常用的如压敏电阻(MOV)、瞬态电压抑制二极管(TVS)等。

3、输出纹波和噪声的抑制/输出滤波电容的选择:产品在使用时,一般会在产品的输出端外加电容,可以进一步减小产品的输出纹波和噪声。

需要注意,输出端不宜加过大的电解电容,加大容量的电解电容可能会造成模块处于不断重启的保护状态,使输出电压不能建立;还有可能会导致产品在启动过程中出现比较高的输出过冲电压;另外,由于启动过程中,产品需要向输出端的外接电容充电,会造成上电启动电流加大,这时要求前级电源提供较高的瞬时功率且要求输入保险丝要有足够余量。

4. 负载要求
为了确保模块能够高效可靠的运行,建议输出负载应在额定负载的 10%到 100%之间,不建议长期在低于 10%负 载的情况下运行,否则部分产品性能不能符合本手册性能指标。

2. 滤波电容
外加滤波电容的选取请参考表 1 中的数值,选择电容依据 ESR 小于 1Ω(在频率为 100kHz),建议选用陶瓷或电 解电容,不建议选用钽电容。输入及输出滤波电容值不能选择太大,否则很可能会造成启动问题。
