一、教学内容:五上Unit5 What do they do? the first Period(Story time)二、教材内容分析本单元的主题是“What do they do?”。
Story time分呈现了Su Hai在Mike 家里聊天的场景,由两部分构成。
在第一部分,Su Hai在看Mike的全家福照片,并询问Mike父母亲的工作。
在第二部分,Su Hai向Mike介绍了自己父母的职业。
这两段介绍父母工作的对话可作为学生进行口头表达时的一个范例,也可以作为学生进行写作练习的参考。
教师可以利用多媒体呈现表示驾驶员、教师、农民和工人四个职业的图片,要求学生观察图片,通过这些人手中的物品提示,来猜测他们能做什么,进而引出目标词汇。
教师可以用谜语的形式描述各种职业,要求学生猜出职业的名称。
教师也可以根据学生的实际情况,要求学生自编谜语,在小组中进行有关职业的猜谜活动。

本单元的主要教学内容是职业名称和工作内容,同时继续呈现了动词的一般现在时第三人称单数形式和用法。
Story time部分呈现了Su Hai和Mike在家聊天的场景,互相询问双方父母的职业。
