Unit 2 My week---B Let’s talk说课稿I’m glad to be here to say something about my teaching plan. Now I’m going to talk about Part A of Unit 2, My Week, which is from PEP Primary School English Book .There are six parts in my teaching plan , they are Analysis of the Teaching Material, Analysis of the Students, Teaching aims, important points and difficult points, teaching methods and the Teaching procedures as well as the purposes of my designingPart 1 Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis lesson is the third part one of Unit2. So if the students can learn this lesson well, it will be helpful to make the students learn the rest of this unit. This lesson is about my week in school. By studying this unit, students know how to ask the week an d what we have on different days in school. Such topic is related to the children’s day-to-day life. So it is helpful to arouse learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their oral English.In the teaching course, the teacher should use the pictures, CD and multi-media and some real objects to create the real situations and happy atmosphere. Some stars award as a prize to the students still needed.Part 2 Analysis of the StudentsThe students in Grade 5 have had some basic English knowledge and they can express themselves in simple English, so it’s easier for them to have further English study.Part 3 Teaching aimsI put forward the teaching aims according to new English lesson standard .It contains three points: the aims of knowledge , the aims of ability and the aims of emotion .(1)The aims of knowledge are about key sentences: What day is it today? What do you have on Mondays? We have… ;I like…(2)The aims of ability are to help students improve their ability of listening and speaking. To encourage them to communicate with others actively by using the new words and sentence patterns.(3) The aims of emotionEncourage the pupils to have good cooperation with each other, help each other and learn from each other. Encourage the students to communicate in English in real everyday life.Part4 Important points and difficult pointsTo master the key sentences, and to make a dialogue according to the new sentencepattern is difficult point.Part 5 Teaching methodsIn this lesson I’ll mainly use “communicate teaching”and “task based” method. That is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations, use the topic sentence as a center to teach main knowledge.Part 6 Teaching proceduresI divide this big part into five steps: warming-up, review, presentation, practice, summary and homeworkStep 1 Warming upGreeting with students, then sing a song together with the CD. The purpose of it is to warm up through the chant, do some total physical response not only let students review language what they have learned, but also active the atmosphere of the class, it can make students come to the situation of English learning.Step 2 PresentationNow I’l l mainly talk about this step.(1) By the pictures, we have a recognize about phrases.Purpose: To make students in a real situation,easily arouse their interests, they are eager to know what’s in my bag, and want to express it in English.(2). Teacher will present the PPT for the students, then we will see the key sentence: “Do you often…”“Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.”Teacher asks students: “Do you often…? Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. Ask one student to perform first, then make a survey in each group, the group leader ask and the others answer one by one.Purpose: Task-based teaching method is used here to develop Ss’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Step 3 PracticeListen to the tape first, answer the questions below: 1. What day is it today?2.What does Amy have on Wednesdays? Then listen again and imitate it, pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. At last ,read by themselves and Read the text in rolesPurpose: By answering the question, students will have general idea of the main dialogue, listening to the tape is very important for students to promote their listening and speaking skills, after all ,the most important aim for pupils is to cultivate their basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language.Step 4 SummaryPurpose: This chant made by teacher can help students to consolidate the main dialogue and review the sentences.(1)Make a curriculum schedule as they like in every group , then communicate withothers, at last perform it before students. Use the new sentences, teacher will write these sentences on the blackboard. Give the praise to well performed group.Purpose: Through this step, Ss are expected to use what they’ve learnt fluently .Their listening and speaking ability will be further improved. students’ ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Step 5 Homework1.Write words and phrases﹕often, park, read books, play football, listen to music2.To learn English with your parents everydayPurpose: Ask Ss to master the new phrases. Ss should have a good habit of learning and let them have a better studying atmosphere. Language is used to communicate, so the students need to practice every day.。

一、教材分析(一).教学内容和地位本单元的教学重点是在学习A部分的基础上增加了”What do you do on theweekend?”“Do you often …?”(二)学情分析:学生刚升入五年级,根据小学高年级阶段学生的特点,他们学习英语的热情虽然没有低年级学生那么高、兴趣也没那么浓,但他们喜新好奇,求知欲强,富有想象力,并且具有较高的表现欲,且经过三年的英语学习,他们已有一定的词汇和语言基础。

从学生知识能力水平上来看,这个单元要学习的一周的学习生活中涉及的课程,学生在四年级和第一单元已经有比较好的掌握,对于掌握理解新句型:What do you have on…? We have …打下了基础,学生在四年级的时候也已经有所接触。

但新句型:What do you do on Monday? 需要重点学习.(三).教学目标1. 能听、说、认读单词“often”和“park”。

It is a great honor to have a chance to stand here and talk to you today.Today I’m going to talk about part A of unit2,PEP primary English ,book 3.This unit is mainly about “season”.Now I will explain the lesson from the following aspects .Firstly,let’s focus on the analysis of teaching content .The lesson is a new one of unit 2 .It’s includes three parts :part A, part B and part C .In section 1,It mainly deals with these words ,season,spring ,summer,autumn ,winter. And in section 2.It deals with the patterns :Which season do you like best ?I like spring best.Secondly,it is about the students.Our students are in grade five .They are active an curious ,interested in new things.After learning English for four years ,they have some basic English background knowledge, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them ,providing them the chances of using language .They have learnt English for four years ,and have already known some words about weather ,how to talk about the weather .it’s not difficult for them to understand and use the language:Which season do you like best ?I like ....best. So I set the following aims .(一)、Teaching Goals in this lesson1. Study the four sentences patterns: ①What is your favorite season (or Which season do you like best?)? ②What is the weather like? ③What season is it now? ④Why do you spring/summer/fall/winter?2. The student can read, speak, listen and write the new words: season, spring, summer, fall and winter after finishing this lesson.3.Develop the students’interests in studying English by helping them speak English as much as possible.4. Prepare four pictures on a tree in spring, summer, antumn and winter.3. Prepare a big map, and the map are marked with some cities on it.4. Prepare some red stars to award the students who do a good job in class.5. Prepare a tape, a recorder and a fan.二、Teaching Methods and studying methods(一) Situational Teaching MethodDuring the teaching procedure, I make several situational conversations for the students. Forexample, I choose some students to do the role-playing game, and let them play the roles in the textbook, and make their own conversation by themselves according to their reality. By doing this game, the students can have chances to practice their oral English and join into the teaching procedure.(二) Interactive Teaching MethodGuessing game is one of activities in my teaching procedure. For example, the teacher makes body gestures, and the students guess what the gestures mean. By the interaction between teacher and students can avoid just the teacher’s talking, also can activate atmosphere of the class, and let them learn English by games.(三) Task-based Teaching MethodIn the first lesson, I design a task for the students, for example. I ask the students to draw four pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter and put the words on the pictures. By doing this activity, the students can memorize the new words better.(四) Group Study MethodI divide the class into four groups and each group has its own name. Group study plays a very important role my lesson. By doing this, the students can study English in competitive cooperation.(五) Practice MethodPractice is very important. The students can not improve their English without practice, because practice makes perfect. By doing practice, the students can make full use of what they have learned in the class.三、Teaching procedures(一)Warm-up(1) Guessing gameIn warming-up step, after the teacher and students greet each other, the teacher begins to make body gestures on weather, such as cold, hot, warm, cool, rainy, windy, cloudy and so on., and asks the students what is the weather like now. And the students guess what kind of weather it is. Such as making a hot weather gesture, the teacher keeps fanning with his hand; making a cold weather gesture, and the teacher keep shaking. Any student guesses the right answer will be awarded a red star for his group. This step helps students go over some words on weather, and makes preparation for the new lesson.(二) Lead-in(1) Learning the new wordsThe teacher takes out four typical pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter, and sticks them on the blackboard. Then the teacher asks the students what season is it, and puts the word ‘season’on the blackboard, and teaches the students how to read it. Then the teacher points at spring picture, and asks students what season it is. The students may not know the word‘spring, but they can answer it “Chuntian”in Chinese, then the teacher writes down the word ‘spring’below the picture, and teaches them how to read it. Using the same way, the teacher teaches other new words. After that the teacher invites some students to stand up and read the new words several times. (2) Guessing GameIn this step, the students put the new words into practice. The teacher chooses a volunteer, and shows him a picture of tree, and he draws the picture, and other students guess what season it is based on the picture the volunteer draw. Anyone who guesses right will be awarded a red star forhis group. Every group has one chance to answer the question.(3) Task: Drawing picturesIn this step, the teacher requires every student drawing four pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter, and putting the new words on them.(4) Showing the mapIn this step, the teacher takes out a big map, and sticks it on the blackboard, and shows the students some cities on the map, such as Lhasa, Beijing, Shenzhen, Kunming, Harbin, and Jianshui, and begins another Guessing game: the teacher asks “what is the weather like in Lhasa/Shenzhen/Kunming/Harbin/Jianshui in spring/summer/fall/winter”. The students use “it is windy/sunny/warm/cold/hot/warm/cool”answering the questions. Anyone who guesses right will be awarded a red star for his group.(5) Role-playingIn this step, I choose some students to do the role-playing game, and let them play the roles in the textbook, and make their own conversation by themselves according to their reality. Each group at least makes a conversation. It is a great honor to have a chance to stand here and talk to you today. What I am going to talk about is Unit Two ------What‟s Your Favorite Season---- in the PEP Primary English Students‟Book---Book 2 in Grade Five.一、Analysis of textbookThe main topic in this unit is …season‟. There are three major parts in this unit, including Part A, Part B and Part C. Obviously, it is impossible to finish this unit in one lesson hour, so I divided this unit into six lessons hours, and each part takes two lessons hours. And what I am going to talk about is the first lesson. The first lesson includes four small parts: Let‟s start, Let‟s chant, Let‟s learn and Let‟s find out.(一)、Important Points and Difficulties in this lesson1.How to answer the following questions:①What is your favorite season (or Which season do you like best?)?②What is the weather like?③What season is it now?④Why do you like spring/summer/fall/winter?2.How to help students be able to read, speak, listen and write the new words: such as season, spring, summer, fall and winter3.Review some words on weather, such as cool, warm, hot, cold, windy, rainy, sunny, and cloudy.(二)、TeachingGoals in this lesson1. Prepare a tape, a recorder and a fan.二、Teaching Methods and studying methods(一) Situational Teaching MethodDuring the teaching procedure, I make several situational conversations forthe students. For example, I choose some students to do the role-playing game, and let them play the roles in the textbook, and make their own conversation by themselves according to their reality. By doing this game, the students can have chances to practice their oral English and join into the teaching procedure.(二) Interactive Teaching MethodGuessing game is one of activities in my teaching procedure. For example, the teacher makes body gestures, and the students guess what the gestures mean. By the interaction between teacher and students can avoid just the teacher‟s talking, also can activate atmosphere of the class, and let them learn English by games. (三) Task-based Teaching MethodIn the first lesson, I design a task for the students, for example. I ask the students to draw four pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter and put the words on the pictures. By doing this activity, the students can memorize the new words better.(四) Group Study MethodI divide the class into four groups and each group has its own name. Group study plays a very important role my lesson. By doing this, the students can study English in competitive cooperation.(五) Practice MethodPractice is very important. The students can not improve their English without practice, because practice makes perfect. By doing practice, the students can make full use of what they have learned in the class.三、Teaching procedures (一)Warm-up(1) Guessing gameIn warming-up step, after the teacher and students greet each other, the teacher begins to make body gestures on weather, such as cold, hot, warm, cool, rainy, windy, cloudy and so on., and asks the students what is the weather like now. And the students guess what kind of weather it is. Such as making a hot weather gesture, the teacher keeps fanning with his hand; making a cold weather gesture, and the teacher keep shaking. Any student guesses the right answer will be awarded a red star for his group. This step helps students go over some words on weather, and makes preparation for the new lesson.(二) Lead-in(1) Learning the new wordsThe teacher takes out four typical pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter, and sticks them on the blackboard. Then the teacher asks the students what season is it, and puts the word …season‟ on the blackboard, and teaches the students how to read it. Then the teacher points at spring picture, and asks students what season it is. The students may not know the word …spring‟, but they can answer it “Chuntian”in Chinese, then the teacher writes down the word …spring‟ below the picture, and teaches them how to read it. Using the same way, the teacher teaches other newwords. After that the teacher invites some students to stand up and read the new words several times.(2) Guessing GameIn this step, the students put the new words into practice. The teacher chooses a volunteer, and shows him a picture of tree, and he draws the picture, and other students guess what season it is based on the picture the volunteer draw. Anyone who guesses right will be awarded a red star for his group. Every group has one chance to answer the question.(3) Task: Drawing picturesIn this step, the teacher requires every student drawing four pictures in spring, summer, fall and winter, and putting the new words on them.(4) Showing the mapIn this step, the teacher takes out a big map, and sticks it on the blackboard, and shows the students some cities on the map, such as Lhasa, Beijing, Shenzhen, Kunming, Harbin, and Jianshui, and begins another Guessing game: the teacher asks “what is the weather like in Lhasa/Shenzhen/Kunming/Harbin/Jianshui in spring/summer/fall/winter”. The students use “it is windy/sunny/warm/cold/hot/warm/cool”answering the questions. Anyone who guesses right will be awarded a red star for his group.(5) Role-playingIn this step,I choose some students to do the role-playing game, and let them play the roles in the textbook, and make their own conversation by themselves according to their reality. 二、说教材本单元主要围绕一周七天的活动展开,贴近生活实际,是学生十分感兴趣的话题。

本节课将复习和巩固前两节课所学的五个单词和What day is it Today?等询问上什么课的句型。

因此,根据学生已有的认知基础及本科在本单元中的地位及作用,依据小学英语教学目标的总体要求,确立本课目标为:知识目标:1. 能够听懂、会说:What day is it today?It's Wednesday What do you have on Thursdays?We have and science on Thursdays.能听懂Read and write 部分对话,完成补充句子练习,并能在实际情景中运用。

我说课的内容是人教版五年级下册Unit 2 my favourite season. Part A .let’s learn.我将从以下五大方面来展开我的说课:一说教材,二说学情,三说教法和教学准备,四说教学过程,五说板书设计.
首先我谈谈对教材的分析,本课时是本单元的第一课时,主要是围绕”季节”这一话题展开教学.学习如何用英语表达四季以及运用句型what’s your favourite season....进行询问.这个话题是小学英语日常交际的重要组成部分,它非常贴近学生的生活,再者,学生已在第四册和第五册中学习了“What’s the weather like”和“What’s your favourite food”的话题谈论,为本课储存了一定的相关知识. 根据以上对教材的理解和分析,我确定了如下教学目标:
1.知识目标:
使学生能听说读写单词spring, summer, fall, winter, season能听懂句型what’s your favourite season...并进行对话交流.
2.能力目标:
使学生能灵活运用句型进行”四季”的表达的语言交际能力.
3.情感目标
培养学生热爱四季,热爱大自然的良好情感态度并有环境保护的意识,培养学生良好的学习习惯和健康快乐的学习态度.
本课时的重点是:掌握let’s learn部分四会单词及句型what’s your favourite season...的实际运用.
本课时的难点是:spring单词的发音.
接下来我要说的是学情
本课所涉及的对象是五年级学生,他们接触英语已经有两年多了,对一些简单词汇有了初步的了解.五年级的学生对英语充满兴趣,他们好表现,好奇心强,有较强的模仿能力和记忆力.因此我将通过引导学生参与小组活动,游戏竞赛等方式展开学习.使学生在愉快的氛围中快乐学习.
下面我要说的是教法和教学准备
为了顺利完成以上教学目标,更好的突出重点,突破难点,按照学生的认知规律,以及教学应该以激发学生的学习兴趣为主,在课堂上我主要运用情境教学法,游戏法,任务型教学法和TPR的教学方法相结合.给每一位学生提供参与的机会,激发他们的学习兴趣,充分调动他们学习的积极性.
为了更好的完成本课的教学任务,增强教学的直观性,趣味性和实践性我准备了:各季节图片,电脑课件.
要上好一堂课,教学过程就是贯穿整堂课的灵魂所在,因此我设计了以下五个教学环节Step1 warm-up,Step2 Presentation,Step3 practice,Step4 extension,Step5 Summary&Homework.
第一步热身导入
师生间进行free talk.谈论天气It’s hot today.通过复习旧知识过度到新知识,自然的引出新话题,使学生轻松自如的进入到新知识的学习情景中.
第二步新课呈现
就谈论今天的天气.询问学生现在是什么季节,根据学生的回答展示春天的图片,并引出spring.这个单词.之后再引申出其他三个季节.我会通过男生读,女生读,齐读,大风吹等方式教学本课新单词.
教习完单词之后我会介绍自己最喜欢的季节my favourite season is summer.并展示相关图片,然后提问:what’s your favourite season引导学生回答:my favourite season is....通过图片提问的方式加强学生对单词的记忆以及对新句型的运用.
第三步巩固练习
在此环节我主要设计了三个游戏
游戏一:看谁反应快
将学生分为四个小组,每个小组代表一个季节,然后我会读季节单词,与之相应的小组站起来,并且将单词读三遍.表现优秀的小组奖励一颗小雨滴.
游戏二:刮鼻子游戏
每个组的前一个同学用句型what’s your favourite season问后一个同学,后一个同学回答之后,再用相同的句型问下一个同学,说不出或说错的同学就要被刮鼻子.
通过以上三个游戏来调节课堂气氛,使学生在游戏中巩固知识.
第四步拓展延伸
我设计了两个任务来拓展
任务一:学生自己画每个季节的代表性的东西,并且标明是哪个季节. 任务二:鼓励学生上台用英语将自己最喜欢的季节介绍给同学们.
第五步总结和布置作业
1.我会花1分钟左右的时间帮助学生整理本课知识.
2.然后对学生本节课的表现进行评价,以表扬和鼓励为主.
Homework:用自己喜欢的方式去熟记本课单词,并且回家后跟爸爸妈妈谈论自己最喜欢的季节.
