一、拟声词
拟声词又称为象声词、摹声词、状声词， 是摹拟自然界声响而造的词汇，是世界上 所有语言都具备的成分。
因为拟声词多半用来描绘、形容，因而有 人把它归属形容词，并不妥当。因为：
ห้องสมุดไป่ตู้ 拟声词在语法上不像形容词可以受程度副 词和否定副词的修饰，例如我们不会说：
“雨点十分哗拉哗拉地下着”。 “北风不呼呼地吹着”。 拟声词也不能用“A不A”的方式表示疑问。

（2）注意颜色词的文化内涵
英汉语中的“红（red）”都可以表示“身 体健康、面色红润”：
He is a fine old gentleman with face as red as a rose.
一位红光满面，精神矍铄的老绅士。
但英汉语中红色的引申意义不同。如英语 red没有与“女子”有关的引申意义：
看守吧钥匙弄得叮当作响以警告犯人。
The bullet entered his brain and he fell with a thud to the carpet.
子弹射进他的头部，于是他扑通一声倒在地毯上。
She slammed the box on the table. 他吧匣子砰地一下摔在桌子上。
英汉拟声词的比较
1.同一声音在英语和汉语中用相同的拟声词来表达： pat--啪 giggle--咯咯 meow/miaow/miaou/meau--喵 cuckoo--咕咕 howl--嚎 moo--哞哞 vroom-vroom--呜......呜（赛车发出的声音）
英汉语拟声词比较

中国人习惯用“黄色”
象征低级趣味、腐朽
没落、色情的东西， 英语中用blue表示汉语中
与英语的yellow毫不 的“下流、淫秽”之意：
相干，英语中对应的 blue jokes 下流的玩笑；
3、把同一英语拟声词根据不同的情况译成 不同的汉语拟声词，或是把不同的英语拟 声词根据不同的情况译成汉语拟声词。
1）The whip cracked as the wagon master started the horses.
马车夫赶马上路时，鞭子甩的噼噼啪啪地 响。
The plate cracked as I dropped it. 我把盘子掉在地上，哗啦一声破碎了。

4）有时英语原文中没有拟声词，翻译成汉 语时可根据汉语表达的需要增补恰当的拟 声词语，使译文表达生动

汉英民族对基本颜色词的分类基本上是相 同的，都采用七分法。

3）有些英语拟声词翻译成汉语时课根据汉语的需 要增补一定的词语（如“作响”、“一声”）、 “一下”等，使译文符合汉语的表达习惯
