一、单元学习主题
本课主题属于“人与社会”主题范畴中“社会服务与人际沟通”这一主题群,涉及子主题“良好的人际关系与人际交往”。

二、单元内容分析
本单元分为Section A与Section B两部分,主要围绕话题“Decision making”展开听、说、读、写、看等语言活动。

本单元共有两个主要语篇,第一个语篇是对话的形式,讲述了Jeff和Ben如何为聚会做准备;第二个语篇通过讲述Laura的故事,探讨青少年如何解决生活中的问题,并给出了相关专家的建议。

两个语篇不仅为我们传递了不同的语言知识和语篇知识,也传递了“文明交际,正确认识生活的烦恼并合理表达自己的观点”的育人价值。

基本信息课题新目标英语八年级上册第10单元第一课时作者济源市济水一中英语组李燕及工作单位教材分析本课是人教版《新目标》英语八年级上unit10 if you go to the party , you’ll have a great time! 的第一课时。

本课时是一般将来时态的延续,为正确运用这个时态提供场景,也为条件状语复合句的学习奠定基础,具有承前启后的作用;就整个单元来说它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元的知识扩展和语言综合运用奠定基础。

学情分析八年级学生已经学过一般将来时态和一般现在时态,已了解了这两种时态的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句等形式。

首次接触if引导的条件状语从句,在接受上会有一些难度,这就要求教师在引入的时候要多从学生的角度思考。

在口语运用中判断if条件句的主句、从句也许会存在一定的困难。

在运用一般将来时和一般现在时态也许会产生混淆。

教学目标语言目标:(1)正确运用if 引导的条件状语从句,如:If you do, you will have a great time.(2)正确运用表示将来时态的句型。

(3)运用what对if引导的句子所产生的结果进行提问,如:What will happen if they have a party today?能力目标:通过1b,2a,2b 听力训练,对话操练,培养学生听说技能;生生对话,培养合作学习的能力;竞赛活动激发学生兴趣,培养竞争意识;归纳语法,课堂练习,渗透考点,训练答题技巧。

情感目标:(1)本单元 Section A 主要围绕“ party ”展开话题,贴近学生实际生活,可以提高他们的学习兴趣,用英语来表达自己的意愿;(2)了解国外学生在开 party 时应遵守的规则,同时和国内的规则进行比较,了解中西方文化之间的差异。

教学重点和难点(1)正确使用if 引导的条件状语从句;(2)掌握用 will 句型来表示将会发生的结果。
