4. 结果状语从句
❖ 结果状语从句常用so that, such that等关联词 引导。e.g.
❖ He is so young that he can’t go to work. 他如此小以致于他不能上班。
❖ He got so little pay that his ily had to live on welfare money. 他工资很少，他的家人不得不靠救济金生活。

2．用于否定句时，主句谓语动词是非延续性动 词，从句为肯定，意为“某动作直到某时间才开 始”。如He won’t go to bed till/until she returns.

➢ 考点揭密
在复合句中修饰主句中的动词、形容词或副词或 句子，起状语作用的从句。由从属连词引导，从属连 词在从句中不充当句子成分。状语从句可置主语之前， 也可置主语之后。前置时，从句后用逗号与主句分开； 后置时，与主句之间无标点符号。

(1)引导词:because, since, as.
(2)对because 原因状语提问用“why” (3)because 不能与so连用。 (4)because,since，as,for的区别：

① because 从句所表示的是对方不知道 的直接的原因，因此位于主句前或主句后.
③ since用来表示比较勉强的理由和原或原由已为人们所
知。 e.g. Since you can’t answer the question,
（原由已为人们所知）I’ll ask someone else.
e.g. Since everybody is here, let’s bigin the meeting
e.g. You will not succeed unless you work hard.
(2)遵循“主将从现”的原则, (即主句若为一般将来时， 从句用一般现在时代替将来。)
(3)if...not与unless(=if…not…) 及or的同义句转换。

而as,since 引导的从句却不可；

yesterday,because he was ill.
