(GM foods)

What's GM foods
Genetically modified (GM) food, is the use of biologica l technology, transfer some biological gene to other speci es, change its character, nutritional quality.
to other technologies in traditional plant and animal breeding.
Improve nutritional value
GM technologies can be used to create crops with higher levels of essential nutrients such as vitamins and minerals
Address food security
Spread of modified genes
The spread of modified genes from GM crops to wild relatives can disrupt natural ecosystems and lead to the creation of "superweds" that are resistant to heroics
Creation of New Crops
Genetic modification has enabled the creation of new types of crops that may not be possible through traditional breeding methods
This can significantly lower the amount of pests applied to crops, reducing environmental pollution and potential health risks associated with these chemicals
Limited transparency
The production and distribution of GM food often lake transparency, making it difficult to trace their origin and assess their safety

Genetically modified food
Genetically modified food(GMF) refers to the food using genetic engineering (GM) technology in the species genome(基因组;染色体组 to embed(嵌入 in 基因组; 嵌入) 基因组 染色体组) 嵌入 heterologous 1异种的 ( 异种的)gene, including transgenic(转基因的; 转基因的; 基因改造的)plants, genetically modified animal, and genetically modified Microbial(微生物的) food.
The disadventages of genetically modified food
transgenic food may produce potential biological mutations(突变 and new toxin 突变) 突变 毒素) (毒素)in food,in addition, scientists haven't conducted security test on people for long, which means maybe not everyone suites for transgenic food
The advantages of genetically modified food 1.High nutrition An estimated 30% of the world population are in iron deficiency, through transgenic technology, the content of iron in rice will increase

As far as I am concerned, the GM foods can reach som e effects people want to achieve to,but at the same tim e,it also increase and accumulate the poison in the food.
