Reading部分"The Road to Modern English"通过对英语语言的发展历史这一话题的探讨,加强学生对英语语言的了解,特别是对英语发展趋势的了解。

通过本课的学习要让学生了解英国英语、美国英语、澳大利亚英语、印度英语、新加坡英语等都有自己的惯用法和不同的发音规律。

在完成本节课的学习后,学生能感受到英语语言的多层次和多元化,有助于培养学生的跨文化意识。

二、学情分析我所带的学生,英语基础好的不多。

大多数学生没有兴趣也没有耐心阅读完整篇文章更不要说掌握文意了。

所以往往出现老师自问自答唱独角戏的情况。

为了照顾所有学生,让每位学生都参与教学活动。

在开展教研活动时,我们教学经验丰富的教研组长提出了这个因材施教的任务教学方法。

效果颇好。

在这一过程中,即使有些学生在前面的fast-reading中对课文认识不够,但经过后面的这一活动,绝大多数学生都能很好的理解课文。

三、教学目标1.
