fairly, quite, rather, very, pretty的 语法区别
(1) 这几个词都可表示程度,但语气的轻重不同,大致可描 述如下(后面的词比前面的语气强):(not) → fairly → quite → rather / pretty → very (2) 这几个词中,只有 rather 可以与比较级和副词 too (太)连 用:

• Anxious can describe a stronger feeling and is more formal. Nervous is more often used to describe how you feel before you do something very important such as an exam or an interview, or something unpleasant or difficult. Nervous can describe sb's personality: a very nervous girl is often or usually nervous, while a worried girl is worried on a particular occasion or about a particular thing. Worried describes her feelings, not her personality. Anxious may describe feelings or personality.
