How much more do you know about an earthquake? What may happen in an earthquake?
People may lose their homes…. Many things may be destroyed….. Many people may be killed……
Mice ran out of the Fields looking for places to hide. Fish jumped out of bowls and ponds.
People could see bright lights in the sky.
The sound of planes could be heard even when no planes were in the sky.
The water in the wells rose and fell. And the well walls had deep cracks in them. A smelly gas came out of the cracks.
The chickens, cows, dogs and pigs were too nervous to eat.
Predictions of an earthquake:
1) Bright lights flash in the sky. 2) The water in the well rise and fall. 3) The well walls have deep cracks with smelly gas. 4) Animals, such as cows, pigs, horses and snakes are very nervous and upset. 5) Mice run out to look for places to hide. 6) Fish jump out of the ponds.
