Clown School

Everyone in Ed’s family is a clown. Ed’s grandfather is a clown.

Ed’s father is a clown.

Ed’s mother is a clown.

Ed wants to be a clown too.

Now Ed is seven years old.

He will go to clown school.

“Ed,here’s your school uniform,”said his mother.

As Ed looked at his unform,he was very surprised.

The coat was too long for his arms. And the pants were too short for his legs.

The shoes were too big for his feet. And the hat was too small for his head.

“Mom!My uniform doesn’t fit,”Ed said.

Ed’s mother looked at each piece of clothing.

“E verything is perfect.Let me help you put it on,”she said,smiling.“There you are,Dear.Now I will paint your face.

I’ll make your mouth bigger.”

“I’ll paint a tear under your eye.I’ll give you a red nose.

And here is a funny hat on your head,”said his mothe r.

Ed looked in the mirror.He was very happy.

“Does this mean I’m a clown?”he asked.

“No,”says his mother.”You only look like one.”

So Ed walked to clown school with two smiled.

One was painted.And one was real. 小丑学校

Ed的爷爷是小丑。

Ed的爸爸是小丑。

Ed的妈妈是小丑。

Ed也想成为一个小丑。

现在Ed七岁了。

他将去小丑学校上学。

“Ed，给你的校服，”他的妈妈说。

当Ed看到他的校服的时候，他非常惊诧。

这件外套对于他的胳膊来说太长了。

而裤子对于他的腿来说太短了。

鞋子对于他的脚来说太大了。

而帽子对于他的脑袋来说太小了。

“妈妈！我的校服不合适，”Ed说。

Ed的妈妈看到服装的每一件。

“每一件都很好。让我帮你穿上它，”

她微笑着说。

“给你，亲爱的。现在我画你的脸。

我使你的嘴巴更大。”

“我将在你的眼睛下面画一个裂痕。

我将给你一个红鼻子。还有在你的头上有一顶滑稽的帽子，”他的妈妈说。

Ed看着镜子。他非常快乐。

“这意味着我成为了一个小丑了吗？”“不，”他的妈妈说。“你只是象我一样。”

于是Ed带着两片微笑去小丑学校了。

一片微笑是画上的。一片是真的。
