Throughitall,wehaveneverrelinquishedourskepticismofcentralauthority,no rhavewesuccumbedtothefictionthatallsociety’sillscanbecuredthroughgovernmentalone.ourcelebrationofinitiativeandent erprise;ourinsistenceonhardworkandpersonalresponsibility,theseareconsta ntsinourcharacter.
