1.教学内容

本课的主题是通过中国与外国家庭之间的比较了解中外姓名之间的文化差异 ,以及了解家庭成员之间的关系。

2.教学目标

1. knowledge objectives

(1)to enable ss to understand the meaning of these words:

his, her, mr. ,mrs. ;

(2)to enable ss to understand the meaning of family tree ;students can use the sentence patterns this is my ⋯ his/her name is ⋯to introduce their family members in english ;(3)to enable ss to understand the different family culture

between china and western.

2.ability objectives

(1) to develop ss ’a bilities of listening, speaking and writing.

(2) to develop ss ’a bilities of communication.

3. emotion objectives

(1) to lead the ss to love their family.

(2) to know respect the western culture.

teaching procedures:

step 1 warming-up 1.

greetings.

2. sing this song: finger family.

(purpose: it is important to form a better english learning surrounding for the students by singing. at the same time, it

provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next

step. )

step 2. presentation

task 1. introduce china family.

1. introduce xiaowanzi ’s family.

use sentences : use the sentence patterns this is my ⋯his/her name is ⋯to introduce their family members ;

who’s he ? he ’s my father. his name is ⋯ .

interesting and easier way. )

3.guessing game :lily ’s family.

(purpose: after learning xiaowanzi ’s family and lily ’s family , students can use the sentences, it provides situations to learned knowledge for the next step. )

3. play a game : who are they?

(purpose: this part can practice the ss ’o ral english effectively. )

step 3.practice : make a family tree.

1.model: xiawanzi ’s family tree.

2.make tim smith ’s family tree .

work in groups, put tim smith ’s family photos and names on

the right places.
