Module3以英雄为话题，培养学生爱英雄，学英雄，争做英雄的好品质，并以此发奋学习，做国家有用人才。本节课主要讲解unit2.以Norman Bethune的英雄事迹为主题，一方面在引导学生快速的抓住文章的主要信息，有效的提高阅读效率，增加阅读理解和完形填空的分数的同时，学习如何写人物传记；另一方面，通过本模块的学习，学生进一步学习because ,so,和so that引导的状语从句，同时掌握充足的语言实际运用的机会。学生可以围绕这一话题进行大量的听、说、读、写方面的语言实践活动，促使学生更自觉地学习英语。
