查了很多例文,只找到上面这一个后面接to的,可是一看就知道它是跟use..to do搭配的, 而不是因为method的缘故,其他的例子的用法全部是method for doing, method of doing. 可见,如果method 单独使用,后面接method本身的用法, 就不可以用to do. 除非前面有其他的词要求其后to do 的搭配,但是这也跟method本身无关。

method和way都是方法的意思、那在用法上有什么区别啊？

1. way 是个最通用最不正式的词，可以用来代替前面的任何一个词。由于way常出现在许多固定的词组中，可见这是个使用非常频繁的词；在不少含有way的词组中，从理论上讲使用method，mode 或manner 可能表意更准确些，但是那样却损害了生动性。

如：He always has his own way.(他总是随心所欲。)

此句中的way 就是mode 或manner 的意思，因为说的是“个人喜爱的方式方法”。

另外do something in this way 中的way 即method 的意思，但并不用mehod
