英汉称呼语中的文化差异

The Cultural Differences of English and Chinese Address Terms

Abstract

At present, politics, economy, and culture of Chinese and westernare in mutual and interaction, the differences between Chinese and western are more and more apparent,people faced all kinds of barriers in intercultural communication. This paper talks about the culture differences and their causes in English and Chinese address terms. It requires people to correctly understand and use English and Chinese address terms. At first, this paper starts from definition, classification and function. Then, the writer will compare English and Chinese personal names, kinship address terms, title and pronoun to clearly show the differences of English and Chinese address terms. This paper also gives correct strategies to get rid of the conflicts. At last, the writer will summarize subject according to this paper.

摘要

目前，随着中西方的经济、政治和文化之间的相互影响和相互作用,中西方称呼差异越来越明显，人们在跨文化交际中存在着各种各样的障碍。本文探讨了英汉称呼语中的文化差异及其差异原因，它要求人们通过了解差异产生的原因和影响去正确地理解和使用英汉称呼语。首先，本文先从称呼语的定义、分类和功能入手。其次，将英汉两个民族的称呼语、亲属称呼、标题和代词作对比，清晰地显示出英汉称呼语的不同。本文还给出摆脱英汉称呼语差异的相应策略，最后，将大致的对全文做出高度的概述。
