A Night I’ll Never Forget
One night, my house burned down. Although I lost many things in the fire, the experience helped me to grow up. Before the fire, I was selfish. ④I always complained to my mother about how small my room was or how few clothes I had. ⑤I never thought about her troublees, just my own. ⑥ Then, the fire came and dest√royed everything we owned. ⑦ We were suddenly poor and had to borrowed everything even food. ⑧At first, I had a hard time, but slowly I began to realize that I didn’t really need my old things. ⑨I just needed my family. ⑩After all, you can get new clothes anytime but a family can never be replaced. It is true that the fire took many good things from me, but it gave me something, too.
