一，倒装的定义及目的

倒装的定义：把谓语部分提到主语之前叫倒装,此外还有宾语部分，表语部分的倒装。

倒装的目的：强调内容或者更好的衔接上下文。

二，倒装的种类

倒装分为全部倒装和部分倒装。

全部倒装：将谓语的全部提到主语之前。

部分倒装：将谓语的一部分提到主语之前。

三，全部倒装及其方法

1.here,there, away,down ,in ,up, off,out,now,then,next,thus等副词开头的句子里，以表示强调，需要将句子倒装。地点介词短语位于句首句子需要倒装。

例句：The boy came in.

倒装：In came the boy.

如果the boy改为人称代词he,倒装之后：In he came.

例句: A boy sat in front of the house.

倒装：In front of the house sat a boy.

（谓语部分倒装）方法：副词+谓语+名词/副词+代词+谓语

2.表语置于句首，为保持句子平衡，强调表语部分，或上下文衔接需要倒装。例句：Professor White was present at the meeting.

倒装：Present at the meeting was Professor White.

例句：The national flag was fastened to the pole.

倒装：Fastened to the pole was the national flag.

例句：A splendid painting was hanging on the wall.

倒装：Hanging on the wall was a splendid painting.

例句：20 patients were outside the doctor’s clinic.

倒装：Outside the doctor’s clinic were 20patients.

（表语部分倒装）方法：形容词/ ed分词/ing分词/介词短语+系动词+主语

3.直接引语的一部分或全部位于句首，有时也用倒装。

例句：The old man asked “who can help me?”

倒装：“Who can help me?”asked the old man/the old man ask ed.

例句：He asked “Who can help me?”

倒装：“who can help me?”He asked.代词主格不倒装

（宾语部分倒装）方法：“直接引语“+谓语+主语

四，部分倒装及其方法

部分倒装方法：部分倒装是把be动词、情态动词、助动词放到主语之前。

如果句子中没有这些词,要在主语之前加助动词do / does / did等,而把原来的谓语动词变成原形放在主语之后。

1. only+副词、介词短语、状语从句，位于句首时。

例句：I know the importance of learning only then.

倒装：Only then did I know the importance of learning.

例句：We can learn English well only in this way.

倒装：Only in this way can we learn English well.

例句: He watched TV only after he finished the work.

倒装：Only after he finished the work did he watch tv.

Not only…but also连接并列分句时，前倒后不倒。

例句：Not only does he like English but also I like English.

2. Hardly…when; no sooner…..than; never, not, no longer, little, not until, seldom, in no time, nowhere,等否定副词和连词放在句首时。

例句：I had hardly gone out when it began to rain.

倒装：Hardly had I gone out when it began to rain.

例句：I had no sooner gone out than it began to rain.

倒装：No sooner had I gone out than it began to rain.

例句：I have seldom read such a funny story.

倒装：Seldom have I read such a funny story.

例句：I did not leave until he came back.

倒装：Not until he came back did I leave.

3. 与So相关的用法

So +助动词+主语

例句：She is a teacher. So is her mother.(…也…..)

主语+助动词+so

例句:She wants him to be a teacher. He does so (这样做了)

So +主语+助动词

例句：You say she is a teacher. So she is.(确实如此)

So it is with …=so it is the same with….（…也一样）通常用于以下几种情况：
