The Rise of China
Up to now, westerners have governed the world for about 200 years. Their arrogant made them lose the sight of the developing countries. Civilizations and cultures, which had no voice, which was not listen to, which was not known about, will have a different sort of representation in this world, just like China, is going to become the biggest economy. And China's rise is dissimilar from the west.
This difference not singly comes from technology, but culture and history.
First of all, China is a civilization state, rather than a nation state. From Qin Dynasty in 221 BC, China has been a unified country. What is more, unification is the most important concept in Chinese culture.
Then, Chinese have a different conception of race to most other countries. Martin Jacques emphasizes Han has superiority and disrespect. Nevertheless, I don't subscribe to him. From my own perspective, As a Multiracial country, every nation in China has equal status, and enjoys equal rights.
Unlike the western, the Chinese see the country as the head of the family, China also proves the assume that "one country, two systems" and so on. All in all, I believe the rise of China can come true in our generation.。
