Project Involvement,
Management and Accomplishments
∙Contributed heavily to the developm ent and design of the IT server and applications database housed on SQL Server for CIGNA Government Services.
The database contains all servers with hardware specifications, IP
configurations, applications support scripts, shares, data flow information, etc.
∙Scripted and developed numerous data transform ation packages for CGS with production support m onitors and notifications in order to ensure data delivery success and minimizing transfer failures.
∙Created a new inventory database at Sanford Brands, Inc. consisting of all IT related assets spread am ong 4 sites: Sharpie Manufacturing Plant, Eaton
Packaging and Display Building, Liquid Manufacturing Technical Center and
the Distribution Center. The database catalogued for the first tim e, all IT
assets into one location for easy asset m anagement. This was authored to
integrate into the corporations future asset m anagement through Track-IT.
∙Scripted files and settings transfers for end-users at Lockheed Martin for a seamless transition should their machines be upgraded or reinstalled. This
allowed for a backup of stored data within the users profile to be captured
and brought back down to the new installation and consisted of both data and settings (printers, m apped network drives, etc.).
∙Assisted the system s engineers at Lockheed Martin in scripting update files to have on hand for techs on the floor. These batch files were used to m ake
sure that all appropriate updates and package installations were installed on
Lockheed system s whenever a technician was at a m achine. This helped in
keeping all system s up to date and current and worked to ease reinstallations of programs should they be needed.
∙Worked side by side with the COTS team at DOL (US Depart m ent of Labor) in the developm ent and implementation of the Windows XP rollout and upgrade
from Windows NT. The project was in support of the OASAM (Office of the
Secretary) network and consisted of 4,000+ end-users.
∙Worked with the COTS team at DOL in the upgrade of the Depart m ents remote users from Windows 9x to Windows XP. This consisted of 300+ end-
users spread throughout the US and abroad. As the rem otes administrator, I worked with COTS in developing silent installation packages for a seamless
transition as well as thorough documentation for the end-users to follow.
∙Authored numerous technical docum ents for rollout procedures geared to the end-user. Som e of these were for various operating system rollouts, McAfee
upgrades, VPN Software installations, etc.
