Bushing
Device that enables one or several conductors to pass through a partition such as a wall or a tank, and insulates the conductors from it; the means of attachment (flange or fixing device) to the partition forms part of the bushing .

The bushing is built up around a centre tube on which the condenser body is wound, The upper insulator, lower insulator, top chamber and mounting flange are held between the end plates by the centre tube.

The bushing consists of core container, porcelain and flange.
Oil-Air bushing
The connecting flange incorporates a self grounding test tapping for capacitance and tanδ measurement During periodical maintenance. A venting plug for transformer turret evacuation is provided.
