“保护动物，人人有责”这句话常常回荡在我们的耳边，可是有些人还是不保护动物。
读了《西顿动物故事集》我知道了动物和人一样，也有喜怒哀乐，也渴望自由。
宾狗，是西顿的一只爱犬，它机智、勇敢。
有一次，西顿被捕狼机夹住了，差点葬身狼腹。
宾狗来了，把狼群吓跑。
可是，宾狗一不小心吃了一匹下毒后的马的尸体，中毒而死，这是因为，宾狗一直过着狼的生活。
一个狐狸家族，三只小狐狸，还有一只母狐狸，一只公狐狸。
正因为它们经常偷西顿叔叔家的鸡，所以，叔叔决定抓住狐狸。
结果公狐狸死了，随后两只小狐狸也死了，一只小狐狸被活捉，狐狸妈妈不愿意看到自己的孩子被人类折磨，失去自由，把自己的孩子毒死了。
虽然这些动物的结局都很悲惨，但它们都给我们留下了深刻的印象。
记得有一次，我跟爸爸、妈妈去动物园玩。
那些关在笼子里，被人类观看的动物们并不开心。
有个小朋友还向一只小猴子扔石子，小猴害怕极了，不知道往哪里躲，他的爸爸妈妈并不阻止，反而还哈哈大笑。
