议论文写作（二）

在议论文写作（一）的讲义中，我们已经就议论文的要素、特点、写法、格式及提纲做了详细的讲解，并就分论点段落中提炼“topic sentence”进行了一定的训练。在本次讲义中，我们将基于“topic sentence”的创设，具体训练“supporting sentence”的写作。

分论点段一般有两个部分组成:主题句(topic sentence) 和支持句(supporting sentence)

1.主题句(topic sentence)

主题句是一句完整的句子，由于它仅仅提及作者的立场，观点，是文章的中心思想，一般不提供具体的细节。主题句一般放在句首。

2. 支持句(supporting sentence)

支持句一般有几个句子组成，也有人把它说成是论证句或发展句。论证的方法一般有：引用事实、数字统计和调查报告。这些都是非常有效的论述手段。切忌泛泛而谈，给人感觉空对空，说明不了问题。

以下是一些作文中分论点展开的范例：

范例一：这是一篇关于“是否禁放烟花炮竹”的文章的分论点段。作者的观点是“不应该禁放烟花炮竹”。

To begin with, setting off fireworks can surely add to traditionalfestive atmosphere.（主题句）With the splendid fireworks blooming in the sky, the joy and wonder of the merry festival are more than words can describe. Apart from that, setting off fireworks is a special Chinese folk tradition. Only when we go all out to preserve the precious custom typical of China will the rich Chinese culture be inherited and spread all over the world.（支持句）

这一段支持句采用了分析描述的方式。

范例二：这是一篇关于“你是否愿意参加团对合作活动”的文章的分论点。作者的观点是“应该参加团队合作活动”。

To begin with, group cooperation brings joy which is more than words can describe.(主题句) I still remember the days when our class worked together to prepare for the school singing competition. With our joint efforts, we won the first prize. The whole class shared the honour and happiness with each other, which doubled the joys.（支持句）

Moreover, I hold that group cooperation tends to work wonders.（主题句）As a member on our school debate team, I, together with my teammates, have won several debate contests. It was our discussions, our practice and our combined efforts that enabled us to overcome difficulties and win honour.（支持句）

这两段的支持句都采用了举例说明的方式。
