Teaching Procedure:

Step 1

学生默读课文,选择答案,班内校正,及时评价。

T: Let’s act.

学生分组展示。及时评价。

Let’s talk

T: Super! (点击课件,出现B部分图片) Who are they?

Ss: …

T: Who are they talking about?

S: …

T: How are they talking?

S: …

T: Let’s work in 2. Then show it in class.

Ss: 学生2人选择名人谈论。班内展示,及时评价。T: Let’s listen and repeat.

学生听音跟读。

Step 2 Read the text and tell the main idea of the text in the students' own words.

Let the students speak in front of the class. Encourage them not to be shy when they stand there. Give the students chances to speak loudly in front of the class.

Step 3 Work in pairs.

T: Cool! Can you finish this sentence?

Ss: Yes!

T: Let’s do!

Step 4 Listen and answer

1. Play the audiotape and ask the students to listen carefully.

2. Pick some students out to answer the questions. Explain how to show ways and show some useful phrases.

Step 5 Sum up

1. Let the students close their books. Ask them to say what they learned in this lesson. Ask some volunteers to write on the blackboard.

2. Do some exercises.

Step 6 Homework

1. Finish off the exercises in the textbook.

2. Go on the next reading in the student book.
