As I walked down the street, I saw a group of children playing happily. They were running, jumping and laughing, completely immersed in their own world of joy. It made me realize how important it is to cherish the simple things in life.Later that day, I went to visit my grandmother wholives in a small village. She welcomed me with open arms and we sat down to enjoy a cup of tea together. As we talked, she shared stories of her youth and the struggles she faced. It made me appreciate the sacrifices that our elders have made for us.The next day, I visited a local school and had the opportunity to speak with some of the students. They were eager to learn and full of enthusiasm. It reminded me of the importance of education and how it can change lives. In the evening, I went to a park and saw a group ofelderly people practicing tai chi. They moved slowly and gracefully, completely focused on their movements. It made me realize the importance of taking care of our bodies and minds as we age.As I reflect on my experiences, I realize how diverse and rich our world is. We can learn so much from each other and appreciate the different perspectives that exist. It is important to embrace these differences and celebrate the beauty of diversity.。
_____________________________________________________________例文:小作文:其一:这里有两幅漫画,第一幅的标题是《给六指做整形手术》,画面中有一只右手,手的大拇指被切掉了,而需要截去的“六指”却安然无恙。

1The 1996 Gaokao Was a Big Deal!Hi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the really important test that happened in Jiangxi Province back in 1996 called the Gaokao. The Gaokao is a huge exam that all students in China have to take at the end of high school if they want to go to university. It's super hard and lots of pressure, but doing well on it can really change your whole life!In 1996, the English part of the Gaokao exam in Jiangxi was a pretty big deal from what I've heard. English is one of the most important subjects tested, along with math, Chinese, and a few others. The total score for just the English section was out of 150 points that year. Can you imagine having to get a perfect score on an English test worth 150 points?! That's crazy! My older cousin Jingfeng had to take the 1996 Gaokao when she was in her last year of high school. She studied sooooo hard for the English part, doing practice test after practice test. Jingfeng says the reading comprehension passages were crazydifficult, with all sorts of obscure vocabulary words she had never seen before. She had to read through dense paragraphs about topics like global economics and theoretical physics and answer really detailed questions. That's pretty wild for a high school test if you ask me!The writing section was also no joke from what I've been told. Jingfeng had to write a whole essay of a certain length, sticking to a randomly assigned prompt and using proper grammar, vocabulary, and organization. She did a million practice essays leading up to the test day. Some of the sample prompts she showed me were things like "What leadership qualities are most important in the modern world?" and "How have advances in technology impacted humanity's relationship with the natural world?" Those prompts seem more like something a university student would write about, not a teenager! On the actual test day, Jingfeng said she was an anxious wreck. She could barely sleep the night before and her hands were shaking during the exam from all the pressure. When she finally got her score back a few months later, she had gotten 128 out of 150 on the English section. That was in the top 10% of all test takers in Jiangxi that year! My cousin was over the moon, since a score that high would really boost her chances of getting into a top university. It's kind of crazy to think about taking such an intense English exam at the end of high school. I'm only in elementary school, so I don't have to worry about the Gaokao for a long time still. But I can already feel how important doing well on that test will be when I'm older based on how significant it was in 1996. The English score alone basically decided so many students' fates that year in terms of what university they could attend and what opportunities they would have in life afterward. No pressure or anything!I have so much respect for students like my cousin who made it through the extremely difficult 1996 Gaokao and scored highly on the English section. It required an insane amount of preparation, skill, and mental stamina. I'll definitely be thinking about Jingfeng's experience when it's my turn to take the Gaokao many years from now. For now though, I'm just going to keep working hard in my English classes and not stress too much about that massive exam in the future. Wish me luck, friends!篇2The 1996 English Test in Jiangxi ProvinceHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you all about the crazy English exam they gave last year in Jiangxi province for the university entrance test. It was totally wild! You see, in China we have this really important test called the Gaokao that you have to take if you want to get into a good university. It has all kinds of subjects like math, Chinese, history, and English. The English part is super hard because you have to read passages, answer questions, write essays, and do all this other difficult stuff.Well, in 1996 the people who made the Jiangxi Gaokao English test must have been feeling extra mean that year! The test was ridiculously difficult and way too long. When my older cousin Jianji took it, he said there were reading passages that seemed to go on forever about super boring topics. And the vocabulary questions used all these crazy obscure words that nobody actually uses in real life. But that's not even the wildest part! You'll never believe what the total score was for the English section. Get ready for this...it was 150 points Can you imagine?! Most English tests max out at like 100 or 120 points. But these Gaokao folks inJiangxi just said "Nah, let's make it 150 and really make the students suffer."Jianji said he thought he did pretty well and was expecting a decent score. But when he got his results back, he had only gotten 67 out of 150. He was totally crushed! With such a high total possible score, it made it nearly impossible for anyone to get an amazing grade. All the students were furious about how unfair the test was. Their parents started protesting and complaining to the education officials. There was a huge controversy over the ridiculous 150 point total. In the end, I think they had to rescore everyone's tests and adjust the grading because it was just too extreme.Imagine having to get over 120 questions right on an English test just to get a decent grade! For context, the English test I take every year for my grade only has around 50 questions max. I can't even picture having to answer three times that many questions, all in English! Just thinking about it makes my brain hurt. The whole 1996 Jiangxi Gaokao English exam saga just goes to show how crazy high-stakes standardized testing can get in China. Educators need to be way more reasonable when settingtotal scores so students don't get overwhelmed and demoralized. An English test shouldn't feel like torture!Anyway, that's the scoop on the infamous 150 point English monster exam from 1996. I'm just relieved I've got several more years until I have to start worrying about my own Gaokao! For now, I'll stick to my regular tests where passing just requires getting like 70%.篇3The 1996 Jiangxi College Entrance Exam English ScoresHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I'm going to tell you all about the English scores on the big college test from 1996 in Jiangxi province since that's what you asked for. It was a pretty important test for all the high school students trying to get into university that year. From what I've learned, the English section of the exam had different parts like listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. The scores were calculated a bit differently back then compared to now. The total score possible on just the English part was 150 points. For the listening comprehension, there were some dialogues and passages that the students had to listen to and answer questions about. This part was worth 25 points out of the 150 total for English. The reading comprehension had some longer passages to read through and answer comprehension questions, worth another 40 points. The writing section is probably the hardest in my opinion. Students had to write a composition of around 120-150 words, which doesn't seem that long but it's not easy to write a good essay in English! This writing part was worth 25 points. There was also a translation section where they had to translate a short passage from Chinese into English, worth 15 points. The last parts focused on grammar, vocabulary, and structure. There were fill-in-the-blank types of grammar questions worth 25 points, and a vocabulary section with 20 points. So as you can see, it really tested students on all the different skills needed for English!I looked at some sample exam papers from 1996 and the reading passages covered topics like environmental protection, scientific discoveries, and Chinese culture/history. The writing prompts were opinion essays about things like "My View on Studying English" or "The Importance of Friendship."From the statistics I found, the average score on the English section in 1996 across all test-takers in Jiangxi was around 90 points out of that 150 maximum. The highest score was 147 and the lowest was only 31 points. So there was a really wide range of scores! The scores determined what universities students could apply to or get admitted to, especially for programs like English literature or translation where English skills are so important. From talking to my parents, it seems like the English exam was viewed as one of the most crucial and stressful parts of the whole test. Those are the key details I could find about the 1996 English exam scores in Jiangxi. A lot has probably changed since then in terms of the exam format and grading, but it's still a really big deal to do well on the English section for getting into a top university. That makes sense since English is such an important global language.I'll be taking that exam myself in just a few years, so I've got to start studying hard for that writing section especially! Did this help explain what the 1996 test was like? Let me know if you need any other details. Thanks for reading my essay!篇4My Big Sissy's Big TestMy big sissy Meimei is 18 years old and she had to take a really big important test called the Gaokao this year. The Gaokao is a huuuuuge test that all the students in China have to take when they finish high school. It decides what university they get to go to. Meimei studied soooooo hard for the Gaokao, especially for the English part.Meimei is really really good at English. She started learning it when she was just a little kid, way younger than me. My baba and mama said English is a very important language to know these days, so they got Meimei an English tutor to help her learn. Meimei's tutor was a nice older lady named Mrs. Wang who came to our house twice a week.I remember watching Meimei have her lessons with Mrs. Wang. They would sit at the dining room table and Mrs. Wang would have Meimei read passages from English books and language workbooks. Meimei had to read them out loud and Mrs. Wang would correct her pronunciation. Sometimes I didn't understand what they were saying at all! The English words sounded really weird and confusing to my ears.Meimei also had to do lots of writing practice, like essays and grammar exercises. Mrs. Wang would go over Meimei's writing and mark it up with a red pen, pointing out any mistakes. Then Meimei would have to re-write the corrected versions. I felt bad for Meimei having to do so much writing - my hand would get so tired just from the homework my teacher assigns! But Meimei is really smart and hard-working, so she just kept studying and studying English year after year. By the time she got to high school, her English was amazing. She could have full conversations with Mrs. Wang and read English books and newspapers without much trouble at all. Sometimes when we went out to restaurants, Meimei would pratice her English by trying to understand the English words on menus and signs. When Meimei's senior year of high school came around, she knew the Gaokao English section was going to be really hard. So she worked super duper hard, staying up late at night studying and doing practice tests. Sometimes I could hear her reciting English vocabulary words and grammar rules from her bedroom late at night when I was supposed to be asleep. She took the Gaokao English section ultra seriously because English is one of the most important parts! Finally, the week of the Gaokao arrived in June 1996. Meimei was so nervous, but she had prepared as hard as she could. On the morning of the English exam day, my parents made Meimei's favorite douzhi noodle breakfast to give her energy. Then they gave her a big hug and some encouraging words before she headed off to the exam site. When Meimei came home after the English exam, she looked tired but relieved. She said it was incredibly difficult, probably the hardest test she had ever taken, but she felt okay about how she did. My parents were just so proud of her for working so hard and doing her best.A few weeks later, the Gaokao scores finally came out. We were all nervously huddled around the one room in our apartment that had a TV, waiting for the news to announce the scores. When Meimei's score finally flashed on the screen, she let out a huge cheer!Meimei had gotten a perfect 150/150 on the English section! We were all amazed and celebrated by going out for a fancy dinner at Meimei's favorite restaurant that night. My parents got her a gold necklace as a reward for her incredible achievement. Thanks to her awesome English score, along with her other great Gaokao scores, Meimei got into an amazing university inBeijing. She moved out later that year to start her college life in the capital. I was really sad to see her go because I missed her a lot, but I know it was a wonderful opportunity for her.Nowadays when Meimei comes home to visit, she helps me practice my English too. She quizzes me on vocabulary words and shows me fun English learning games on the computer. I'm trying my best to follow in her footsteps and become an English expert too! Meimei inspired me to work hard on English so that someday I can take the Gaokao and get a perfect score, just like my amazing big sissy did.篇5The 1996 Gaokao English Writing TestHi! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 8 years old. I'm in 3rd grade at Nanchang No. 1 Elementary School. My teacher Mrs. Wang asked us to write about something related to the gaokao, which is the big university entrance exam that older students take. I don't really know much about the gaokao since I'm still just a little kid. But I asked my older brother Xiaolong and he told me all about the English writing part of the 1996 gaokao in our province of Jiangxi.Xiaolong is 18 years old and he just took the gaokao last year to try to get into a good university. He said the English writing section was really hard! The total score for that part was 25 points. Xiaolong stayed up late night after night practicing his English writing skills to get ready. He showed me one of the actual test prompts from 1996. It said "Some people prefer to live in a small town while others prefer to live in a big city. Which place would you prefer to live? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer." The test takers had to write a whole essay responding to that in English!Xiaolong said he wrote about how he would rather live in a small town because they are more peaceful and the cost of living is cheaper. He wrote about being able to go on walks in nature and how everyone knows each other in a small community. But he also talked about some advantages of big cities like more job opportunities and entertainment options. His essay was over 400 words long!In addition to the main essay prompt, Xiaolong told me there were also shorter writing tasks worth less points. One asked test takers to proofread a letter and correct the errors. Another asked them to rearrange a set of scrambled sentencesinto a logical paragraph. The whole English writing section took over 2 hours to complete according to my brother.I remember when Xiaolong got his score report back a few weeks after the test. Our whole family was so nervous waiting for the results! When we saw he got 21 out of 25 points on the English writing, we celebrated by taking him out for his favorite dumplings at the best restaurant in town. 21 points was better than around 75% of all test takers in Jiangxi province that year. My parents were relieved because English writing is really important for getting into a prestigious university.Even though I'm just a little kid, I could tell how stressed out Xiaolong was while preparing for the gaokao. He worked so hard every night while I was playing games before bedtime. I have a few more years before I'll be worried about things like that though! For now, I'm just enjoying being a carefree elementary student. Maybe I'll ask Xiaolong to help me practice some simple English writing sometimes since it's good to start early. But I don't need to stress about any big exams for a long, long time.Well, that's about all I know about the English writing part of the 1996 Jiangxi gaokao from hearing my brother talk about his experience with it. Between the essay prompt and all the other writing tasks, it definitely seemed like a big challenge. I can'teven imagine having to write a whole 400+ word essay in English when I'm only 8 years old! I'll just stick to writing easy stories about my dog Puppy for now. Maybe I'll be a writing expert like Xiaolong one day though. A kid can dream, right?篇6The 1996 Gaokao English Exam Was Really Hard!Wow, that English exam for the gaokao in Jiangxi Province back in 1996 was super tough! I wasn't even alive back then, but my older cousin Xiaoming took it and he told me all about how difficult it was. He's a university student now studying economics, but he still gets stressed out just thinking about that test from almost 30 years ago!Xiaoming said the reading passages were crazy long and full of vocabulary words he had never seen before. One of the passages was about the history of making paper in ancient China. That sounds kind of interesting I guess, but it was written with all these big fancy words that made it really hard to understand what the passage was trying to say. Another reading was about some philosophical ideas from a famous English thinker named John Locke. I've never even heard of that guy before! How is a high school student supposed to know all that stuff? The listening section was also super difficult according to Xiaoming. They played recordings of people talking with strong British accents and used all kinds of idioms and slang expressions. Xiaoming said it sounded like a totally different language from the English he had learned in school. No wonder he found it so hard to understand and answer the listening comprehension questions! I get confused enough just trying to understand the English in my textbooks at school. But Xiaoming said the essay writing task was probably the most challenging part for him. The prompt was something like "What role should individuality play in modern society?" That's such a deep and philosophical topic! How is a teenager like Xiaoming was supposed to have any ideas to write a whole essay about that? He told me he just tried to come up with any thoughts he could and stretched them out as long as possible to fill up the required length. I don't even know if what he wrote made any sense. Writing essays is hard enough for me when the topics are simple things I understand. I can't imagine having to write about something that complex and abstract! From what Xiaoming described, the 1996 Jiangxi gaokao English exam seemed like it was designed to stump pretty much every student who took it. Between the crazy difficult readings, confusing listenings, and brain-twisting essay prompt, I'm amazed anyone was able to get a decent score. Just hearing Xiaoming talk about it gives me anxiety for when it's my turn to take the gaokao in a few years!I really hope the English exams now aren't quite as insanely hard as the one poor Xiaoming had to suffer through. It's important for the test to challenge us for sure, but it shouldn't be so far out of a normal student's level that it becomes pretty much impossible to do well. From Xiaoming's tales of that 1996 Jiangxi gaokao English nightmare, it kind of seems like the test makers back then just went overboard with how hard they made it. Maybe it's better now? I guess I'll find out for myself before too long! Wish me luck...。
