前言

本标准代替TB/T2140-1990《铁路碎石道砟》。This standard replaces TB / T2140-1990 "railway gravel ballast".

与TB/T2140-1990相比，本标准主要变化如下：Compared with TB / T2140-1990, the main changes of this standard are as follows:

修改了范围，也适用于合资铁路和地方铁路；Modified the scope, also applies to joint-venture railway and local railway;

增加了术语和定义；Increased terminology and definition;

删除了二级道砟；The secondary ballast was removed;

增加了高速铁路和客运专线用特级道砟；An increase of high-speed railway and passenger dedicated line with special ballast;

增加了既有线一级碎石道砟级配该为新建铁路一级碎石道砟粒径级配；An increase of the existing line of gravel ballast grading for the new railway gravel ballast particle size distribution;

对道砟集料压碎率指标值进行适当调整；The proper value of the ballast aggregate crushing rate index is adjusted;

对道砟运输贮存提出了更为严格的要求，保证出场上道道砟的级配符合本标准的相关要求。On the ballast transportation and storage put forward more stringent requirements to ensure that the appearance of ballast on the road grading in line with the relevant standards

本标准的附录A为资料性附录。Appendix A of this standard is an informative appendix.

1范围Scope

本标准规定了铁路碎石道砟（以下简称道砟）的要求、检验和运输、贮存、验交。

本标准适用于国家铁路、合资铁路、地方铁路用碎石道砟，工矿企业铁路也可参照使用。This standard stipulates the requirements, inspection, transportation, storage and inspection of railway gravel ballast (hereinafter referred to as ballast).

This standard applies to national railways, joint-venture railway, local railway gravel ballast, industrial and mining enterprises can also refer to the use of railway.

3 术语和定义Terms and Definitions

下列术语和定义适用于本标准。The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1针状指数Acicular index

长度（最大尺寸）大于平均粒径1.8倍的颗粒所占的质量百分率。 The mass percentage of particles having a length (maximum dimension) larger than 1.8 times the average particle size.

3.2片状指数Flake index

厚度（最小尺寸）小于平均粒径0.6倍的颗粒所占的质量百分率。The thickness (minimum dimension) is less than the mass percentage of the particles having an average particle diameter of 0.6 times.

3.3风化颗粒Weathered particles

道砟机械加工破碎面矿物部分或全部失去光泽、改变颜色的颗粒。Ballast mechanical processing crushing surface mineral part or all of the loss of gloss, change the color of the particles.
