Internet Makes People More Estranged

Just now the proposer told us,Internet is convenient to contact other s,and promotes global communications,so it makes people closer.Howeve r,if a man just puts his major energy,even all spare time in Internet,how c an he wholeheartedly communicate with his friends in reality?

Actually,when we are talking about being close to somebody,it doe s mean an emotionally intimate relationship,which is a psychological pro blem.No matter how fast or convenient people can keep in touch with dist ant friends or family members,they are just easier to get information of ot her people,but the true standard to judge whether people get closer or mor e estranged is to say,whether they can trust each other better than before.

So,does Internet help people trust each other better? Our group's a nswer is NO.

Internet has two main characteristics.For one part,Internet is a virtu al world.On the Internet,no one knows you are a dog.Through a cold com puter screen,how can we exchange ideas with others sincerely?We have t o know,communication between human beings is based on spoken langua ge,eye contacts,or soul exchange.No matter how wonderful Internet is,it c

an not replace the real world.Imagine one day when people meet each oth er and just say,"Did you surf the Internet today",do you think people are g etting closer or more estranged?Internet,as a virtual world,cannot promote a heart-to-heart communication,and,as such,does harm to the trust betwe en people.

For another part,Internet is only a media of communication.What d oes really make people closer?It is the affection between friends,or the c oncern about family members,rather than a media,Internet.If I resent som eone and Internet helps me to contact him easily,I don't think our relation ship will be closer.Furthermore,what kind of the medias Internet is?Just a s "every advantage has its disadvantages",when we enjoy the convenience Internet has provided us,we have to know,long time of accumulation of r elying on this method to contact others,makes people ignore the importan ce of sincere communication.We are losing the precious trust between pe ople day by day.It is the Internet that makes people more estranged.

We the people create the Internet,and Internet changes the people a s well.The enormous influences Internet has brought us,totally change our ways of life and communications.As for the current events,the opening o f the Internet give adequate freedom for people to say whatever they like,
