第三讲倒装强调句型

(一)倒装

1.全部倒装(全部谓语放在主语前)

(1)(系+表)+主

(2)Vi+主

(3)Have done +主

(4)There be 句型

(5)there\here\now\then 放在句首

eg. Now is the time to say no to Japan.

Then goes the rumor.

(6)方位状语开头(in, at, among, on, out, of, from)

Happiness lies in your attitude to life.

--------In your attitude to life lies happiness.

Opportunity comes out of every crisis.

--------Out of every crisis comes opportunity.

(7)主语与表语互换(如果当一句话中的主语过长或表语过短时可把主语表语位置互换，这样做不仅可以起到倒装的作用还可以起到强调的作用)

1)That the Internet enjoys a host of merits such as high speed, great efficiency and easy accessibility is clear.

------Clear is that the Internet enjoys a host of merits such as high speed, great efficiency and easy accessibility.

2)That education plays a vital role in this ever-accelerated society is well-known.

------Well-known is that education plays a vital role in this ever-accelerated society. (=形式主语从句)

(8)伴随状语和方式状语开头(有逗号不倒装，没逗号要倒装) 1) Urbanization and centralization have come with globalization.

-------With globalization have come urbanization and centralization.

2)A host of pressing problems have appeared along with technology. Along with technology have appeared a host of pressing problems. 2.部分倒装(只将情态动词，助动词或系动词放在主语前)

(1)o nly+单词，词组，状语从句位于句首时

1)Only now am I learning the great art of life.

2)Only through competition can we get advanced.

3)Only when you develop a habit of industry will you obtain

whatever you like.

(2)a lways\often\particularly\many times\many a time 放在句首时Many times have I heard of your name. (久仰大名)

(3)s o that 引导结果状语从句

so+adj.+be+something+that……

1)This problem is so severe that we have no alternative but to

adopt some effective measures.

------So severe is this problem that we have no alternative but to adopt some effective measures.

2)She is so breath-taking that she need not be blessed with such

talent and she is so talented that she need not be blessed such beauty.

------So breath-taking is she that she need not be blessed with such talent and so talented is she that she need not be blessed such beauty.

(二)强调

1 be never without = have

2….can never fail to do sth. ….总是可以做….

3 Never has something failed to fascinate people …..东西总是可以引起人们的关注

4 Nothing is more ….than something没有什么比….更….

5没有什么比….更重要

Nothing is more important than something.

Nothing is more important than something is.

Nothing is more important than is something.

6没有什么比做…更充实

Nothing is more substantial than to do
