倒装句式：

倒装的类型:

1)全部倒装---把谓语全部提到主语前.Here goes the bell.

2)部分倒装---把部分谓语提到主语前(例如把助动词即：be,do,have提到主语前)

1. 全部倒装

1) 表方位的副词或介词短语作状语位于句首时.

In front of the house sat a small boy.

North of the city stands a chemical factory.

倒装句式：

1.在以here, there, out, in, up, down, away now off 等副词开头的句子。如主语是名词，全部倒装；如主语是代词（we, she, he, it…）只把副词提到前面，主谓的语序不变。

e.g. (1)There goes the bell.

(2)孩子们冲了出来。

(3)--May I look at your book?

-- ____ (给你)。

2.o nly所修饰的副词，介词短语或状语从句放在句首半倒装。

e.g. (1)Only then did I realize that I was wrong.

(2)只有这种方式你才能向朋友们那儿学到很多。

(3)Only when school is over can you go home.

(4)只有你到了18岁，你才有选举的权利。

3.含有否定意义的副词或连词，如，hardly, rarely, barely, scarcely, never, not, not only, little, no sooner, in no sense(way)/case = at no time = by no means/under no circumstances/condition 放在句首，半倒装。

e.g. (1) He seldom comes late

不仅没有水，而且没有电。Not only is there no water,but there is also no electricity.

直到他摘下帽子，我才认出他是谁。

(2)我刚坐下铃就响了Hardly had I

(3)Little does he care for music.

(4)At no time will China be the first to use nuclear weapons.

理论决不能脱离实践。

4.s o, neither, nor, no more 放在句首，表某种情况也适用另一人或物。

e.g. (1)He likes music, _______(我也是)

(2)Li Ming is not diligent, _____(我也是)

(3)Li Ming 很聪明，但不勤奋。我也是。

(4)--Jenny looks pale.

-- ___________(如果你的了重感冒，你也会这样的。)

5.在so…that/ such…that 句型中，so…或such…提前。

e.g. (1)He is so strong that he can lift the stone.

改：

(2)He is such a good student that he is often praised

改：

(3)His diligence is _____he always gets the first place in his class. 改：

(4)He studied so hard that he passed the exam.

改：

6.a s引导的让步状语从句

e.g. (1)Yong as he is, he knows a lot.

(2)尽管他是一个小男孩，…

(3)尽管他努力了，he failed.

(4)无论任务有多艰巨，we must fulfill it in time.

7.在虚拟语气中，若if从句中含有were, had(助),should, 可省略if，构成倒装。

e.g. (1)如果你听从医生的建议，你现在就好了。

(2)如果明天下雨的话，we wouldn’t go outing.

8.m ay…表示祝愿。
