Step 1 Greeting
1.greet students as usual
Step 2 Leading-in(导入)
1. Let the students have a free talk about the following topic:
Suppose a rich person gives you a large sum of money to use as you like, what will you do with it? Give the reasons.
2.Predition (预测)
1). With the million pound bank note, where would Henry go first?
2). What would happen to Henry in the restaurant?
Step 3 Enjoy the film
Watch the film and do the “True or False” exercise. (While watching the film, pay attention
to the owner, hostess and the waiter’s attitude to Henry.)
True or False?
1. The owner looked down upon Henry when he noticed Henry’s appearance.
2.when the owner saw Henry’s note, he got very shocked.
3. When Henry saw the million pound bank- note, he was happy and proud of it.
4. The owner didn’t believe that the bank- note was real and he asked Henry to get out of the restaurant.
