1. Why should we learn history of other countries? Nowadays, social globalization is a common phenomenon around all over the world, such as cultural globalization, economic globalization and the rest. As for the cultural globalization, history is a reflection of culture. So learning history of other countries have some positive meaning. As far as I am concerned, the reasons are as follow:First, with the development of globalization, learning from other countries’ culture is the best way for us to be integrated into the world . The second reason is that history teaches us experience and rules . Only when we understand the rules and experiences of our competitor can we cooperate with or win them

better .What is more, studying is never too late .Learn the advantages of different countries from their history can not only enrich ourselves ,but broaden our horizon ,which makes us konw more about the differences in the world you live in.

2. What is your opinion on foreign festivals being celebrated in

China?

Whether we Chinese should celebrate the western festivals or not has been a subject of heated discussion and argument among people of all ranks recent years.I don’t think it’s necessary to find a definite(确切的)answer to whether we Chinese should celebrate the foreign festivals or not. We ought to respect others’ decision instead of(而不是) interference in their choices. It’s not a bad thing for the people to take advantage of the western festivals, entertaining themselves, getting together and exchanging greetings. To the whole society, foreign festivals can stimulate（激励）the country’s economy and the people’s consumption, increase the income of tourism and catering industry and other entertainment industries, creating more social wealth.I think if you are not interested in the celebration of the western festivals, you can ignore them but don’t complain and make veiled criticism. Some people like to celebrate the western festivals but I’m sure they neither identify with them nor betray（出卖）our own culture.

3. Could you introduce a novel you have ever read?

My favorite book is .It’s one of my favourite sparetime readings and it’s written by J. K. Ro wling. She had

the idea about Harry Potter when she was on train, “Harry just walked into my head.” She said later. She started writing the first edition of Harry Potter the next day. Harry Potter is a magical school student who wears glasses and has no parents, now he is 16 years old. He is very brave and known by everyone because he is the only person who will not die by devil. At school, he has two good friends, they are Rone and Henry. When read the book my first time, I feel very exciting and interesting. So I read it again and again, each time I have different feelings, sometimes I even feel as if I’m one of Potter’s partners. Now there are five edition of Harry Potter published and they are very popular with young students. Books about Harry Potter have sold millions of copies all over the world. Do you like Harry Potter? If you haven’t read the book yet, read it now and you’ll find a wonderful world.

4. What is your plan in the next 5 years?

As is known to us all, the target is of great importance to us. The important thing in life is to have a great target ,and the determination to attain it.Have a good plan for thefuture that can remind us which direction and road should

be towards in the next step. Until now I’m not sure if I really have interest in being Electrical Engineering and
