An Introduction to

Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone 长沙金霞经济开发区，是1992年经湖南省人民政府批准成立的省级重点开发区，国务院批准的长沙市总体规划近期重点开发园区。开发区地处长沙城北中心地段，总规划面积52.14平方公里，是湖南省唯一集水运、公路、铁路、空运、管道五元化网络交通优势于一体的开发园区，也是湖南省乃至全国最大的专业物流园区。园区先后获批“中国物流实验基地”、“中国物流学会产学研基地”和“湖南省物流示范园区”等荣誉称号。

Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level key development zone approved by the People’s Government of Hunan Province, and the recent key development zone in the overall planning of Changsha approved by the State Council. Located in the central lot of North Changsha, with a planning area of 52.14 square kilometers, the development zone is the only one in Hunan Province to combine five-dimensional transportation network advantages together, i.e. waterway, roadway, railway, air, and pipeline transportation, and it is the largest professional logistics zone in Hunan Province, even in China. It has also been awarded lots of honorable titles successively, such as “Experimental base for China's logistics”, “Production, Learning and

research base of China Logistics Association”, and “Logistics Demonstration Park in Hunan Province”.

开发区辖金霞、沙坪、高岭、鹅秀四个组团。凭借保税物流中心、铁路货运中心、港口、公路一级口岸和物流信息中心等五大物流平台，金霞组团成为定位长沙，辐射中部，影响全国的国家一级物流节点和重要的国际物流转换基地；沙坪组团重点发展装备制造业、能源工业等大运量工业和以IT产业、电子信息为主体的出口加工业；高岭组团重点发展物流商贸业，形成集仓储、配送、批发、贸易、展览、运输、信息以及其他专业服务为一体的专业市场群；鹅秀组团拥有良好的自然生态环境，将建成以生活居住、商贸办公、休闲旅游等多功能结合的综合型社区。

The development zone is composed of Jinxia Group,Shaping Group, Gaoling Group and Exiu Group. With the bonded logistics center, the railway freight centers, ports, highways a port and logistics information center five logistics platform. Positioning of Changsha, radiation in central, Jinxia group will be built as the country-affecting national-level logistics nodes and important international logistics base; Shaping group will focus on the large capacity industry, such as equipment manufacturing, energy i.e. and the export processing industry, such as IT industry, electronic information industry. Gaoling group will focus on the logistics business sector, become a professional market including storage,

distribution, wholesale, trade, exhibition, transport , information, and other professional services. With a good natural environment, Exiu Group will be built into a multi-functional comprehensive community, combined with live life, business office, leisure and tourism.

在园区内，一大批高标准的物流公共平台已经建成或者正在建设。园区依托这些物流平台，繁荣商贸流通业，呈现出广阔的发展前景。

Batches of high-standard common logistics platforms have been built or are under construction, depend on which the zone prosper trade circulation and show a wide prospect.

长沙新港：是由交通部确认的全国28个内河主枢纽港口之一，是湘江水路向国际航运中心——上海港最大的喂给港，是湖南唯一能常年通航千吨级船舶的内河深水港，总占地面积1125亩。目前港口一、二期已建成投入使用，具备运输管理、中转换装、装卸存储、多式联运、国际货运、信息服务和通关商检7大功能，成为辐射湖南乃至我国中西部的重要内河枢纽港口。
