14、摇动、摆动、挥舞的动作

①swing （to move or turn in a circle or an arc, usually pivoting around a fixedpoi nt, or make something move or turn in this way）

eg: swing one's arms 摆臂；

He accidentally found that the desk clock did not swing its pendulum.他无意中发现座钟不摇摆了。

②Sway（to move slowly from side to side; to move sth. in this way）

Eg: Slip into a chair or remain upright, and sway back and forth.

Wave

1.to move the hand or arm from side to side or up and down as a greeting,farewell, or sig nal eg: he waved to me to say goodbye. 他挥手向我道别。

2.to move from side to side or up and down, or cause something such asa flag to move fr om side to side or up and down. Eg: Those guys have earned the right to walk

into that stadium and wave theirnation's flag. 那些小伙子已经赢得了走进体育场并挥舞自己国家国旗的权利。

④Shake

1.to move back and forth or up and down in short quick movements, or make something or somebody move in this way.

Eg:You got the beats and breaks and your body shake , and we're don't it all night long . 你间歇的打着拍子，摇摆着身体，我们不会持续整夜。

2.to move the head from side to side in order to express disagreement,disbelief, commis eration, or sorrow

Eg: He used to shake his head and he would just smile.

他会摇摇头并轻轻一笑。

①see (to become aware of sb/sth by using your eyes)

eg: The child is eager to see his mother. 小孩急着想见妈妈。

②watch(to look at sb/sth for a time, paying attention to what happens)

⑤Look at (use one′s sight;turn the eyes in some direction;try to see)
