(第二课时教学设计)

一、教材分析

1.教学内容

本课时系教材《英语1》(基础模块高教版)第七单元的第二课时,包括reading and writing部分,具体内容为:熟悉活动安排表,了解并能读懂简单的活动安排表,并根据要求制做活动安排表。2.教学重点、难点

⑴教学重点

阅读并理解简单的活动安排表

⑵教学难点

在阅读简单的活动表,根据要求获取相关信息,制作活动安排表。

二、教学目标

1.知识目标

⑴理解,读懂计划表。

⑵熟悉,掌握活动相关的词汇或词组。

2.能力目标

a)能根据要求从活动安排表获取相应信息。

b)能根据要求书写安排表。

3.情感目标

让学生了解西方人活动安排的习惯。培养学生良好的学习习惯和

生活习惯。

三、教学步骤

Step 1 Lead-in

1.Revise the words they learnt in the previous period. The teacher

can use the games mentioned in the previous period.

(设计意图:通过游戏,比赛让学生在轻松的氛围中回忆所学知识,为后面熟练准确的运用做好准备。)

2.Activity 10. Look and write. Students look at the pictures in

activity 10 and discuss them with the students using the following questions:

1)What can you see in the pictures?

2)Who are they do you think?

3)What are they doing?

Have the students work individually and match the phrases with the pictures. Have a check with the students as a whole.

Explain the usage of “meet”

1)to wait for somebody to arrive; 接某人

e.g. I will meet my friend at the railway station.

2)to see or know somebody for the first time; to be introduced to

somebody

e. g. I want you to meet my friend, Jack.

Nice to meet you.

Explain the relationship between “meet” and “meeting”

(设计意图:引出活动类的词汇,将学生带入即将设定的语境

里,有利于后面活动的展开。而对于“meet”这一词的解释

则为学生扫清了词汇理解及运用上的障碍,帮助学生完成阅

读任务。

Step 2 Reading

1.Activity 11. Have the students read Sara’s timetable and circle the

activities that aren’t mentioned in activity 10.

Have a check with the students as a whole.

Explain the following words to the students;

1)talk 交谈

talk with/to…和…交谈

talk about…谈论…(内容)

2)finish 完成

finish doing something

(设计意图:这是个信息的选择和排除的活动,可以训练学生在阅读中的观察能力,帮助他们获取有用信息。)

2.Activity 12.Think and judge. Students read the timetable again and

judge the statement.

_____1) Tang Hua’s birthday is April 6.

_____2) Lily will go to China on Wednesday.

_____3) The deadline for the marketing report is Thursday, April

10.

_____4) NO.1 V ocational School is a client of Sara’s company.

(设计意图:训练学生利用已知信息对所给的判断进行推断的能力。)

3.Activity 13. Choose and write. Tell them that Sara finds that she

has something else to do. Ask the students to help Sara arrange the activities. Go through the words of the activities with the students.

Ask the students to fill in the form with the activities. Have a check with the students as a whole.

(设计意图:帮助学生亲自填写安排表使学生队安排表有更深的印象,为下一步的输出做准备。)

Step 3 Production

1.Practice

Say something about making appointments in western countries.

Explain what can a

planner benefits them.

Tell them they are supposed to write a timetable for the next week. They will do the

following important things.

1)On Tuesday morning, you will have a vocabulary contest.
