翻译技巧和句型

翻译中需要注意的问题：

1．一定要注意时态、句型和所给词的用法。

2．注意以下句子的翻译：

（1）要找准主语

该公司没有员工介意周末加班。（mind）None of the staff in the company minds working extra hours at the weekend.

他的一席话让我愕然。（leave）

What he had said left us amazed.

牺牲健康换来财富是不明智的。（trade）It is not sensible to trade health for wealth.

（2）注意无主语的句子的翻译

小心别打破那个茶壶。（care）

Take care not to break the tea pot.

要特别注意同音词。（attention）Special attention should be paid to words of the same pronunciation.

该村方圆十里没有人烟。（within）There is no one within ten kilometres of

the village.

消息越坏，传播越快。（spread）

The worse the news is , the faster it spreads.

是太阳给我们提供了光和热。（supply）It’s the sun that supplies us with light and heat.

（3）注意中英文语序的差异

这事不怪你，你不必内疚。（blame）You are not to blame for it , so you don’t have to be guilty.

上海在最近十年发生了巨变。（see）Recent years have seen great changes in Shanghai.

游客只有乘直升飞机才能抵达那座山顶。（accessible）

The top of the mountain is only accessible to tourists on a helicopter.

你在任何书店都买不到你要的书。（available）

The book you want is not available in any

bookstore.
