The First Emperor in China History
Thousands of years ago, there were seven famous kingdoms in the Warring State Period. At first, the Qin State was poor and weak because it was mountainous and was in the remote location. But the king of the Qin State, Ying Zheng, was a strong-willed and outstanding leader who took pains to enrich and strengthen his country. Ying Zheng believed in the Legalism and appreciated one of his advisers, Li Si. They passed a series of major reforms to improve the economic strength and military forces.
After conquering other six states and unifying the China, Ying Zheng called himself the First Emperor to show his greatness. He was adventurous and creative, ordering Li Si to unify characters. And he ordered people to build the Great Wall, roads and the canal.
Today, his name and work are known all over the world.
