The Headquarters of the Newspapers(P133)
Until the 1980s, almost all the national newspapers had their headquarters on or around Fleet Street in London. The name was used to mean the British newspaper industry and its political influence, and sometimes you will hear newspaper culture referred to “ Fleet Street” or “the Street of Shame”, reflecting the birth of scandals which take place.
