英语否定句子的不同以及翻译

在英语中经常用到否定形式，除了not, no之外，英语中还有其他的形式也可表达否定形式

1)用no 和not：

You can’t be too careful.

你越仔细越好。

We could not be more mistaken.

我们大错特错。

2)用形容词：far from, short of, free from, different from, last, poor, absent, be immune from

I’m low IQ, you know.我很笨；low EQ(吃不开)；low AQ(沉不住气)adversity quotient (逆境适应能力)

Low MQ (moral quotient)

Wet paint!

油漆未干！

It is far from the truth.

I am short of money. This is the last thing I'd like to do.

Your suppliers are far from enough. (你们的供货远远不够)。

Japan is a country poor in natural resources.

3)用副词：hardly, scarcely, rarely, seldom, never, no longer, not... any longer (more), not ... at all, nowhere, inevitably, unavoidably

A person who does a regrettable action is often regretful afterwards.

行为不检点的人，日后往往要后悔。

5)用连词：unless，rather than= other than, neither...nor, before, except that, or, otherwise,
