The DT MODULE is the main component of the unit. Therefore, it should be carefully and continuously maintained.

The DT modules must be cleaned as per the instructions given in the cleaning section. If

the modules are not cleaned as instructed then performance will suffer and the membrane

life will be reduced.

The torque loading on the modules must be maintained otherwise damage to the membrane cushions and hydraulic discs will occur.

Cleaning and checking the torque loading are the two main maintenance items

PALL has designed this DT Reverse Osmosis module to overcome all the failings found in

the other types and makes of Reverse Osmosis modules. The DT module superior fluid dynamics drastically reduces the fouling and scaling that are common in other reverse

osmosis modules. Unlike the others it can be repaired on site.

The Desalination performance of this module is specified on 25ºC and wastewater at 15ºC.

The module can operate up to 40ºC continuously and 50ºC for short periods. Over 50ºC & up to 70ºC ULTEM type hydraulic discs must be used.

The reason for this, is to make it easier to see and understand.

There are a total of 6 seals in the module, NOTE: All seals are different in dimensions. One seal is a Lip Seal to prevent leakage from the pressure vessel. Each hydraulic disc is fitted with 2 O-rings of the same size.
