【语法点三】形容词副词比较级用法
1. 可以单独使用。

如：Be more careful next time. 下次小心点。

2. 可以和than连用，表示两者相比，than后可以跟名词或代词、动名词、从句，比较级前还可以用much、even、still、a little等来修饰。

1. 未击中;未达到
如：He missed an important ball in yesterday’s match.
在昨天的比赛中他错失了重要的一球。

2. 错过;未赶上
如：We’ll miss the train if he doesn’t hurry. 假如他不快点，我们就赶不上火车了。

如：She missed her mother very much. 她非常想念她的母亲。

cheer on, cheer up区别
（1）cheer on意为“为...加油鼓劲”，可以加人作宾语，且on是副词，若宾语是代词，只能挡在cheer 与on之间。

如: We all cheered him on. 我们都为他加油鼓劲
（2）cheer up意为“振奋，使振奋”
如: You should cheer yourself up. 你应该让自己振奋起来。
