连接词-whether/if
I don't care whether you like the story or not. I don't know if/whether he can help me. whether/if：意思“是否”；不作成分，不能省略 只能用whether,不能用if的三种情况： 1.与or not连用 Let me know whether you come or not. 2.在介词之后 I worry about whether I hurt her feelings. 3.不定式之前 We haven't decided whether to go there.

考点一 引导词
能告诉我运动会将在什么时候开始吗?
连接词-that
没意义，不作成分，可省略 Eg. Do you think (that) it will rain? 你认为天会下雨吗?
He said (that) he could come on time. 他说他会准时来 的。 I know he has returned.我知道他已经回来了。 不能省略的情况： Everybody could see what happened and that Tom was frightened. I know nothing about him except that he is from America.
连接词-疑问代词/疑问副词
Could you tell me which class you are in? I know where she lives. I don't know what he wants. Linda knew when he left. My teacher taught how I should solve the problem. 疑问代词：what,which,who,whom,whose,whoever等 疑问副词：when,where,why,how 作成分，有意义，不可省略
My father said he was watching TV at that time. My father said the he had already seen the movie. 主句是一般过去时，宾语从句用相应的过去时态。 He said that he would go back to America soon.
