Mountain Shaped Housing in Copenhagen, Denmark

山形住宅是业主第二次委托BIG 事务所针对同一街面，在既有地面基础上设计的VM Houses 楼二期工程。

本次工程的2/3将用于停车场，另外1/3为居住空间。设想，如果将联排住宅置于停车场之上，如同巍巍坡上的低矮民居，从11层的高处徐徐扩展至街边，会是一幅怎样的图画呢？

方案没有将停车场、住宅楼作为两个建筑单体相邻设置，而是将两项功能以共生关系整合在一起。车辆停放区应与街道相连，而阳光、美景和新鲜空气应提供给家庭住宅，因此，每套公寓都配套设置向阳的屋顶花园，景色别致。山形楼体呈现出一种乡村花园住宅的居住体验，追求一种城市集约化背景下的乡村生活格调。

The Mo u nt ai n is the 2nd ge neratio n of the V M H o u s e s -s a m e c l i e n t , s a m e s i z e a n d s a m e s t r e e t. T h e p r o g r am , h o w e v e r, i s 2/3 p ar k i n g and 1/3 living. What if the parking area became the base upo n whi ch to place terraced housi ng -like a concrete hillside covered by a thin layer of housing, cascading from the 11th floor to the street edge? Rather than doing two separate buildings next to each other-a parking and a housing block -we de c ided to merge the two fu nctio ns i nto a symbiotic relationship. The parking area needs to be connected to the street, and the homes require sunlight, fresh air and views, thus all apartments have roof gardens facing the sun, amazing views a n d p a r k i n g o n t h e 10t h f l o o r. T h e M o u n t a i n appears as a suburban neighbourhood of garden homes flowing over a 10-storey building-suburban living with urban density.

屋顶花园由屋顶平台和花园区构成，所栽种的植被四季各异。楼体配备一套庞大的供水系统，保证了屋顶花园的浇灌用水。花园和公寓间的唯一屏障是玻璃拉门，保证室内的采光和通风。

楼内80套公寓的居住者将率先体验到自家屋外泊车的方便舒适。巨大的停车区设有480个停车位，并沿楼体内墙配有一部斜面电梯。部分空间高达16m，使人产生教堂空间之感。

楼体西北两侧外覆多孔铝板，使停车区采光、通风良好。同时，立面孔型结构也是对山状造型的再创造。日间，板材上的孔有如一个个黑洞，呈现出粗糙的光栅效果；而到了夜晚，在内部灯光的映衬下，立面因各层停车区的不同颜色而色彩斑斓，甚是好看。

山形住宅楼位于Orestad 区，是两种生活的绝佳交汇地带：既有哥本哈根市中心的喧嚣，又不乏乡间的恬适宁静。■

to the changing seasons. The building has a huge

watering system which maintains the roof gardens.

The only thing that separates the apartment and

the garden is a glass facade with sliding doors to

provide light and fresh air.

The residents of the 80 apartments will be the

first in Orestaden to have the possibility of parking

directly outside their homes. The gigantic parking

are a c o nt ai ns 480 parki ng spo ts a nd a slo pi ng

elevator that moves alo ng the mountain’s inner

walls. In some places the ceiling height is up to 16

meters which gives the impression of a cathedral-

like space.

The north and west fac ades are covered by

perforated aluminium plates, which let in air and

light to the parking area. The holes in the facade

form a huge reproduction of Mount Everest. At day

the holes in the aluminium plates will appear black

on the bright aluminium, and the gigantic picture

will resemble that of a rough rasterized photo. At

night time the facade will be lit from the inside and

appear as a photo negative in different colours as

each floor in the parking area has different colours.

The Mountain is located in Orestad city and

o ff e r t he b e st o f t wo wo rlds: c lo s e ne s s to t he

hectic city life in the centre of Copenhagen, and the

tranquillity characteristic of suburban life.
